Changes to GCSE• All subjects graded 1 to 9.

• All subjects have terminal exams (removal of modular exams).

• Removal of coursework from most subjects; others given less weighting.

• Content deeper and more challenging concepts.

• Greater curriculum time given.

Amazing Facts

• All students got onto their Level 3 course of their choice- either A-levels or Apprenticeships.

• 36 Grade 9’s were awarded- one student got three

• 80 students got at least 5A’s

• 35 students met the entry requirement for Oxbridge

• The boys outperformed the girls quite significantly

• Please check and sign planners on a weekly basis.

• Work experience will take place from 2nd

-6th

July 2018.

• It is a good idea to start thinking about possible placements now. More information will follow shortly.
