Motivation

> Error/bias due to improper emulation (TSP, Coordination, etc)

> Faster than real time

> Synchronization

> No hardware required

Disadvantages

> More communication overhead than VISSIM’s embedded controller

> No data exchange with other controllers (future NTCIP compliant)

> No import from signal optimization tools (future development)
