Your application for Subdivision is incomplete. For the application processing to resume, you must resolve the following issues and submit the information listed below.
Please note that the Department is only accepting electronic submittals due to COVID-19 closures. Please refer procedures for Planning Resubmittals available on the County website at https://www.sccgov.org/sites/dpd/Iwantto/Permits/Pages/PlanningResubmittals.aspx.

Please submit a complete revised plan set and a written response with the resubmittal materials, addressing the following items. All items must be addressed and included in the resubmittal.
PLANNING OFFICE Contact Charu Ahluwalia at (408) 299-5740 or [email protected] regarding the following comments:
1. Provide the Color Samples in the required format with information on Light ReflectivityValue (LRV) in the template provided in Attachment A. The color samples provided in the

resubmittal do not have LRV information. This information is also required on the elevation drawings in the plans.
2. The surveyed building footprint (sheet C2) and building footprint on the site plan (A2) do notmatch. Clarify discrepancy.
Early Public Outreach 3. The project is subject to the early notification and outreach policy under Design Review Tier
2. Signage at the site of the project and notification to surrounding properties are required.Attached is the signage that is required to be posted at the project site for Record NumberPLN19-0234. A list of signage vendors (sign companies) is also included for your reference(Attachment B). The applicant is required to provide a photo within the 30-day time frameafter application submittal confirming the on-site signage has been satisfied. No photoconfirming the on-site signage has been received by Staff to date.
FIRE MARSHALL OFFICE (FMO) Contact Alex Goff at (408) 299-5763 or [email protected] regarding the following comments:
4. The scale shown on Site Plan A-2 (1/16-foot equals 1-foot) and C1.1 (1-foot equals 20 foot)appear to be incorrect. Please clarify the scale. A fire department turnaround meeting CFMO-SD16 will be required if the driveway is greater than 150 ft. in length.
a. A fire department turnout near the midway point of the driveway would also berequired for a driveway with a length greater than 400 square feet (sq.ft.) and lessthan 800 sq.ft. Turnouts shall be a minimum of 10 feet wide and 30 feet long, with aminimum 25 foot taper on each end.
Further FMO comments may follow after proper scale is stated on plans.
5. Plans to show fire hydrant within 600 ft. path of travel to structure.a. Plans show a fire hydrant but a distance measurement couldn't be taken as the scale is
incorrect.
6. Sheet C1.1 labels a turnaround as Turnaround "C", the dimensions appear to be a Turnaround"D". The plans to clarify this language as the turnaround appears to be mislabeled.
LAND DEVELOPMENT ENGINEERING Contact Darrell Wong at (408) 299-5735 or [email protected] regarding the following comments:
7. Clearly identify all roads maintained and not maintained by the County.
8. Revise the driveway turnaround to conform to County Standard Detail SD16. Demonstratethat the fire turnaround has slopes of less than 5% in any direction.
9. Provide typical sections of all proposed retaining walls.

10. Provide a profile view for the driveway and turnaround to demonstrate that the gradingimpacts have been minimized.
11. Provide a section view through the driveway at the location of the maximum grading andretaining wall height.
DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH (DEH) Contact Darrin Lee at (408) 918-3435 or [email protected] regarding the following comments:
12. Submit an onsite wastewater treatment system (OWTS) design to the Department ofEnvironmental Health for review and approval. The OWTS design must be approved priorto grading approval.Note: To date, DEH has not received a septic system design to evaluate.
If the requested information is not submitted within 180 days, you will be required to pay a fee of 10% of the application fee at the time the information is submitted. All requested information must be submitted within 1 year of the date of this letter and will not be accepted after 1 year. PARTIAL RESUBMITTALS WILL NOT BE PROCESSED. Fees required at the time of resubmittal will be those in effect at that time.
In submitting this land use application, the owner/applicant included an initial application fee. As of the date of this letter, approximately 60% of the fees paid have been exhausted.
