Executive Summary

Wrestling fans viewership has been declining for many years. Tv ratings aren’t as high as they were in the late 1990s and early 2000s (McQuade, 2017). The lack of fan engagement has to do with a lack of customer satisfaction. While wrestling companies are still making a lot of money they aren’t making the same money they made in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Wrestling companies are struggling to bring in younger viewers like they did in the hey-day of the Monday Night Wars. The biggest problem is that fan engagement was down. We had to find out how to get fans to start watching wrestling again.

Our team started discussions with brain storming sessions to see what the most viable solutions are to the viewership and to see how we can increase fan engagement. After doing an extensive amount of research, we concluded that hosting a live wrestling event was the most efficient and effective way to reengage fans and get them to start watching wrestling again. We then came up with a name for our live wrestling event called “Wrestle Circus.” We than planned out each phase of the project and found out how much each phase, including the whole project was going to cost and what it was going to take to run the event. We believe

our live wrestling event will increase fan engagement and increase wrestling viewership.
