Whether you need a press for straighte-ning sheets, pipes, rods, round, right-an-gle material etc. or for special constructio-nal parts.

We can supply accurately controlled press systems for straightening workpieces, fully or semi-automated. Neuson straightening presses can be quickly set up for different work pieces.

The portal parking position away from the straightening bed makes the whole bed area easy to access for loading and un-loading from all sides.

The items to be straightened are very quickly put in position and removed. Shor-ter process times reduce idle time and in-crease the productivity of your press. We also build straightening presses in C-fra-me designs.

PK sizing presses feature the two lateral fixed stops at workpiece height. High ac-curacy of the parts is guaranteed, achie-ved fully automatically through adjustable stops or by means of precision-controlled hydraulic axes.

Clearance zones are available for convey-ing the parts laterally through the press frame. Movement of tools, conveying the parts and exacting special functions are customised individually to customer re-quirements for the production process.

Our extrusion presses, type HPST-HE, equipped with horizontal or swivelling mass cylinder, are a special development for making carbon electrodes. In addition to the modern robust design and the sim-ple centralised control, we offer full inte-gration of additional equipment for a fully automatic production process.

Optimal implementation of the thermostat-controlled electrical heating systems for the pressure plate, press head, mouthpi-ece or melt cylinder ensures high produc-tivity and a long lifetime for this series.

Proven many times in large interna-tional companies, carbon electrodes have been successfully pressed in

the HPST series of presses for years. Thanks to the reliable service and the high degree of automation, customers can swear by the professionalism of our pro-ducts.

PU-1000

Our Neuson universal, preforming and trimming presses for drawing, bending, embossing, stamping, pun-ching and compressing.

Modular construction: Best-price solu-tions for the specific application. The re-quired press and fast-traverse speed de-termines the appropriate hydraulic press

unit. The strokes and clearances are mat-ched to the customer’s wishes.

Mechanical construction: The press frame and ram are of welded construc-tion with high torsional strength, annealed for stress relief. Neuson always focuses on mechanically accurate processing. For critical components and designs, our

technology makes use of finite element calculations.

Ram guide: The excellent guiding width ratio of the piston with fixed ram ensures that the ram can also deal with highly eccentric loads. The piston and the ram guide form a “great guidance triangle”. The piston is guided in generously dimen-sioned components of PTFE-bronze. The ram moves along maintenance-free flat guides in the press frame.

Forged press mechanism (up to 8 times): Of the highest quality: The pis-ton and cylinder are of forged tempered steel. The sliding surfaces are ground and honed. Durability and very high loading capacity are guaranteed.

Neuson open-die forging presses have high shaping speeds with very small forging tolerance values and uniform high quality.

We have developed a “systematised press program” as a kind of construction kit, which can be used for both cold and hot solid stock forming. It is very adaptable to customers’ wishes.

The hydraulic drive is provided by a num-ber of low-noise high-pressure pumps, which contributes to a significant reduction of the risk of a failure in your equipment.

With a well thought-through building-block system, we provide high accuracy in the actual press operation, optimal integration of conveying the parts and the implemen-tation of customer-specific special func-tions.

With years of experience in building hy-draulic presses, we can provide a rapid planning and engineering phase, and, by means of 3D CAD software, full integrati-on in implementing new customer-specific system solutions. This way, a digital plant model determined from customer require-ments becomes the linchpin of our project. Application-specific plant models of your

press and the peripherals facilitate the connection to the already tested modules of our building-block system. Brand-name products from our parent companies and the high level of user knowledge enable our application technicians to use compo-nents consistently to the current state of technology. Press speed, press force and workpiece data are available in a databa-se. (PC-Systems)Using servo valve tech-nology, complex control schemes are im-plemented. Reliable assembly and commissio-ning of complete turn-key installations or parts of installations are aimed at economical produc-tion and finishing. Complying with the various requirements and manufacturing standards, we guarantee repeatability accuracy of ram posi-tions of ±0.01 mm. This enables you to press even complex parts with high precision require-ments.

Accurate sensors guarantee a 100% economical control of work and processes and ensure that energy-efficient performance meets the exact re-quirements of the customer. In respect of overall projects, we take care of the safety technology and undertake CE conformity and type examina-tion (TÜV) for our press systems.

Our experienced mechatronics specialists are expert in storage programmable controls, under-take the design of graphical optimised interfaces and install software updates over remote main-tenance.
