World Call Telecom Limited (WTL), an Oman Telecommunications Company (Omantel), is the most
reliable and unique telecom and multimedia service provider in Pakistan.
WorldCall launched its business in June 1996 with payphone operations. Amid fundamental shifts in

Intensive Strategy (Related Diversification):
Launching this mobile phone service will fall under the category of “Diversification” and it will
be related diversification, because previously the company was known for telecom and
multimedia service provider in Pakistan but now they are offering a mobile phone with the
mission of providing cheaper, unique and easier facilities. The reason for considering it as
diversification is that the market (clients) of the company will not remain same because

previously the company is providing wireless phone services, broadband and cable TV services
but now the company is launching mobile phone service.
Brief Consumer Analysis:
World Call is truly customer centric. They believe in understanding their customer’s needs which
have changed and are changing constantly therefore continuously driving them to innovate in
terms of products and services. The target market for this service will be initially comprises of
youth and Students. As now a days mobile services is one of the most convenient and popular
modes of communication in the world today and our youth can’t live without it so this new
package help them to make lengthy duration calls tension freely, cheaper and faster internet
facility which allow them to make their assignments and reports and to collect data easily over

Competitors Analysis:
Company will be facing competition from all the operators in telecom that includes all the face
GSM (Global System of mobile) operators, CDMA operators and LDI operators and land line
operators. All these telecom companies Human Resource Departments are in constant need of
new employees. So there will be stiff competition in the telecom market for World Call.

The above chart shows that it will not be easy for World Call to capture a lot of market initially
as ufone, telenor, mobilinks are very big giants of this market but market has the capacity to
absorb the market share of any new mobile service entering in the market although the market is
highly competitive so the new company has to work more efficiently to capture market share.
WorldCall has become a generic identity over the years and will be a giant contender in the
market. The basic element for success will be satisfied customers and by holding an attitude that
customer is the king.

The brand elements the symbol and logo of the company will remain
the same as they don’t want to lose their identity and they want to
maintain the identity of their genuine company and as they are known
for their symbol and logo so they don’t have to change the logo of the
company .

As the target audience or market given to us is of Bahria University so we have plan to target the

The company’s major focus is on teenagers and students because they are the majority
population of bahria. Although bahria population includes people with ages more than 32 years
but teenagers and students are the one who are using mobile more as compared to faculty and

To differentiate from others and to position our product in the mind of consumer our positioning
strategy company will be providing cheaper international rates to UAE, New Zealand, South
Africa and Italy and also easier and unique facilities to our consumer

The company has planned to launch this new mobile service under the company’s own name

Since the company is one of the famous brand and they are already well established and they
will promote their mobile service through advertisement and they attract customers through
promotions and they will promote through newspaper, magazines and advertisements, through
famous websites like face book, yahoo and Google , universities and colleges campaign and on
billboard also give awareness to the new mobile service which they have not done before and
whoever will buy their sim there speed of internet will be double..

As company knows the value of their employees and the employees are highly professional
and they are 24 hours for their customers to solve their services problem and the employees of

The process of activating the sim is that the consumer can buy the sim from any outlet all over
the Pakistan and can order the sim from world call website and will be post at their homes for
their own convenience and consumer can call at world call toll free number and can order the
