Document Purpose This document contains information on how to associate (or grant access) to a user from one WorkKeys Online testing realm (parent site) to another WorkKeys Online testing realm (child site). Typically Associate User is a way to allow a parent site to log in to a child site to review reports.

Resources We encourage you to visit the ACT WorkKeys Administration page on www.act.org for many resources available to you. The current ACT WorkKeys Administration Manual for Online Testing is posted on this page.

Also, please reference the latest WorkKeys Online Technical Specifications to confirm that your computers (workstations) meet the minimum technical requirements. See the TAO User Guide for instructions on how to check for these on your computers.

Process Overview To Associate a User, the User must give the child site ‘permission’ to add their User ID by generating a token. A token is a set of numbers that is generated at the parent site.

The parent test coordinator (site administrator) logs in to their site, using the User ID that is to be associated with the child site, and generates a token.

The child test coordinator (site administrator) logs in and, on the Associate User screen, enters the User ID that is to be associated to the child site and the token ID or number.

The child test coordinator (site administrator) designates the amount of access the User should have by assigning a role to the new User. Usually, the Portal Manager role is assigned to enable the User to access reports as needed.

The following table shows the overall process for
