With geo-tracking, employees can record their location when checking in. This provides peace of mind that if their health and safety is compromised, their employer can quickly pinpoint their location and provide the necessary assistance.

People First adapts seamlessly to different time zones, so a journey from one zone to another will be recorded correctly. If HR Admin enter the data, the systems still uses the employee’s correct time zone.

Once employees have submitted their time and attendance data, the information is automatically sent to their manager for approval. The People First app allows managers to handle approvals and requests instantly, reducing hours of manager admin time.

The manager has full visibility of the employee’s time zone (if different to theirs), and a link to see their location.

Approved time and attendance information can then be sent directly to payroll via APIs or extract files, creating a seamless link of accurate data, and ensuring that payroll is delivered in time and error free.

By empowering employees and managers to take charge of this process, you free up HR staff to focus on more high-value work.

Our time-off functionality is designed to support employees across the globe, with multiple time zones, public holiday calendars, and location-specific schemes. Even the language can be localized – ‘Paid Vacation’ in the US becomes ‘Annual Leave’ in Singapore.

You can set annual leave allowances, with full and automatic pro-rata for starters, part-time staff, and staff who transition from one policy to another. You can even add extra days’ leave for length of service.

Once the employee has requested time off, the information is sent instantly to their manager for approval – a process that can be completed in seconds.

Upon approval, time off is automatically updated in Office 365, Gmail, Outlook, and any other linked calendars.

People First allows you to define and set a range of working patterns, including part-time, full-time, and flexible working. Employees can be given default calendars or personalized schedules.

Managers and HR staff gain powerful insights into time off and absence at both an individual and departmental level. This data can then be exported for further analysis.
