The Workforce Administration Payroll Manager is a management position and supports ongoing delivery for aligned domain(s) through issue resolution, change requests, and standardized processes that contribute to achievement of Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators. This position involves heavy client interaction, vendor management as well as coaching and mentoring of staff. Researches and documents the overall process related to projects and ongoing delivery ensuring all systems have been identified and integration points documented Supervises a team of 10 to 15 associates Creates detailed functional business requirement specifications and ensures proper testing hand offs for integration testing Monitors the scope throughout the project and ensures the scope is base lined and that any changes requested are evaluated for project impact and business need for projects Ensures that the process flows are complete and within the defined scope for projects Identifies downstream processes and impacts for projects Provides status reports and communicates changes in process for project assignments Works with 3rd party providers to ensure seamless process delivery

The Workforce Administration Payroll Manager is a management position and supports ongoing delivery for aligned domain(s) through issue resolution, change requests, and standardized processes that contribute to achievement of Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators. understand impact of issue across domains and ensure resolution. Identifies and resolves escalations with strong emphasis to associated patterns, trends, and root

cause analysis Determines when inquiries are beyond the scope of responsibilities of Aon Hewitt and/or team

and escalates Has an understanding of the internal and external Change Request process and assists with

Change Request costing Responsible for team audits and training and support of SAS70 audits. Supports and provides

investigation on regulatory and compliance issues and escalates as needed Manages workload for unit including ad-hoc project deliverables Communicates effectively with the client and internal partners for analysis/resolution Participates in meetings to discuss issues identified and impact on service delivery Designs and updates reports and establishes baseline metrics at the outset of the project and

analyzes results over a period of time

Effectively communicates with the client within all aspects of client delivery including entry to client relationship management

Provides direction and oversight to other associates in their performance of task level assignments

Develops solutions to maintain accountability for end-to-end process results across domain Represents domain in meeting with other teams/domains to develop/refine process execution Encourages application service delivery model by challenging requested custom functionality and

offering alternative solutions Serves as subject matter expert (SME) for Domain Specific processes

Qualifications 

BBA, BS in Business (or equivalent degree) or equivalent work experience required CPP certification preferred 3-5 years of Manager or Supervisor experience 3-5 years of work experience in Payroll PeopleSoft experience Experience in project/implementation work preferred Ability to work under tight deadlines managing multiple tasks Demonstrates analytical skills, is a self-starter and can operate with direction from senior team

members Knowledge around Six Sigma methodology desirable Ability to write client business requirement documents Ability to assess case based on regulatory/legislative requirements, provide risk analysis and

document Ability to properly research, identify process improvement areas and problem solve with various

stakeholders changes, system or process Ability to refine processing procedures based on "big picture" understanding Ability to clearly document processing procedures into an SOP format Intermediate customer service/communication skills required Understands transition or project methodology Knowledge and/or experience with a case management system (i.e. Siebel or Workflow)

preferred Basic or Intermediate level knowledge of one service area including best practices and delivery

model desired Basic or Intermediate level understanding of internal controls desired Technical ability to navigate and learn multiple systems Ability to create test scripts/test plans for UAT Testing
