Please read these BirthdayParty FAQs carefully as
they contain important
information to ensure you
have the wiggliest birthday
party for your child.
Who are The Wiggles exhibition birthday parties
suitable for?
The Wiggles exhibition Birthday Parties are suitable for
children aged two to five years of age
How much does a birthday party cost?
Weekday parties: $250 for 8 children.
Weekend parties: $300 for 8 children.Holiday parties: $300 for 8 children.
An additional 4 children can be added to the birthday
party for $25 per child.
What is included in the package?
Entry to the exhibition and the Museum for 8 children
and 9 adults (includes both parents).
An entertaining party host
Party area for one hour
Unlimited playtime in The Wiggles exhibition
Wiggles-themed partyware (plates, cups, napkins,
hats)
Party food menu for the children (a set menu)
Lolly bags for each child
Birthday certificate for the birthday child
Gift for the birthday child

What happens at the birthday party?
The first hour of the party happens in a designated
Wiggly party area, adjacent to the Museum caf. This
is where the party food will be served including the
birthday cake. It also the location where the party host
will lead the children through a dance along to Wiggles
songs and a Wiggles themed party game. Following
this, the party guests can enjoy The Wiggles exhibition
for as long as they like! Entry to the rest of the Museum
(excluding additionally charged exhibitions) is also
included.
How do I book a birthday party?
Parties must be booked and paid at least three weeksin advance. The easiest way to book is online at: www.
powerhousemuseum.com/wiggles Bookings can be
made over the phone with a credit card payment (ph 02
9217 0222 during business hours), or in person at the
Museum Admission desk. An email account is required to
receive confirmation of your booking.
Can I get a refund if I cancel my bo oking?
Refunds for cancellations wi ll be made at the M useums
discretion. Full refunds are available if this request is
made in writing three weeks prior to the date of the
party. Refunds between one and three weeks before
the party will incur a $50 administration fee. Refunds
will not be issued for cancellations made less than three
week prior to the party date. Proven hardship may be
taken into consideration. Please contact the bookings

Can I change the date of my booking?
Changing the date of a party can be made if the
Museum is contacted at least three weeks prior to the
initial booking and only if the requested change date is
available. Please contact the bookings office on phone
(02) 9217 02222 or email [email protected]. Make
sure you receive your new booking confirmation.
Where does the birthday party take place?
The party takes place in a themed area of the Museums
caf that is reserved exclusively for exhibition birthday
parties. Within this area there is adequate seating for
children. We do not reserve seating for pa rents in the
caf area.
What party food is included in the package?The party food menu consists of: cordial and water,
seasonal fruit, cheezels, sultanas, crisps, wafer biscuits,
hot chips and chicken nuggets. The menu is subject to
change without notice. Food or drink purchased outside
the Museum is not allowed, dietary food and baby food
excepted. Food is not provided for the accompanying
adults. Food and drink, including coffee, is available for
purchase from the caf. For adult platters contact the

Can I bring my own cake?
Yes you are welcome to bring your own c ake. Please
make sure this cake is nut-free. The party host will cut
the cake and serve it, please advise if cake is also to be
served to the adults. You may select an optional ice-
cream cake (serves up to 12 children) as part of the party
package when booking.Where can we park?
The Museum strongly recommends arriving by public
transport if possible. Onsite parking is not available and
street parking is limited. Discounted all-day parking
is available at the Entertainment Centre Car Park on
Darling Drive. This car park is connected to the Museum
by a pedestrian foot bridge. Please validate your ticket at
the Admission desk before leaving the Museum.
When should I arrive?
You will need to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the
commencement of your booki ng. This allows you to meet
your party host and confirm party participant numbers.
Please bring your completed party guest list.
When should my guests arrive?
Your guests should be advised to be at the Museum entryno later than 15 minutes prior to the commencement
of your booking. For example, if your party booking is
for 10.30am, you should advise your guests to arrive
by 10.15am. We cannot allow guests e arlier entry. Your
party host will greet your guests and escort them to the
party area.
What adults are included in the party package?
One adult per invited child and two adults for the
birthday child are included in the package. Adults who
attend without children will be required to pay general
Museum admission ($10 adult, $6 concession). This is
payable on the day, at the Museum Admission desk.
Which children are included in the party package?
Each party package caters up to 8 children. Up to 4
additional children can be added at the time of booking.
Refunds are not issued for children who do not turn upto the party. Any children not on the guest list and not
participating in the party, for example older brothers
and sisters, will be required to pay general Museum
admission.
What if we are running late?
As there may be bookings that run after your party, it
is important that we run things on schedule and on
time. Your party host and party area will be available
to you for a total of one hour commencing as per your
party booking starting time. Guests who arrive late will
directed to the caf by Museum staff once they have
been signed off of the guest list.
What does the party host do?
A party host is included in your package. Your party host
will meet your group at the Museum entry and escortyou to the party area. They will serve your partys food
and help with the cake. The host stays for the duration
of the party to assist with a selection of activities. At the
end of the hour the party host will escort your group to
The Wiggles exhibition. There is no need for you tidy up;
the party host does that for you!
Can I request to make changes to the party
structure?
If you have any special requests please discuss these
with the party host when you arrive. We will try our
best to be accommodating but please be aware that
the parties follow a structured pattern that may not be
easily changed (this includes song changes, food serving
times etc).
Can I book an appearance by Dorothy?
Unfortunately character appearances are not availablefor birthday party bookings. The characters appear
within the exhibition in various formats.
Who supervises the children?
All parents should supervise their children at all times
whilst in the Museum, including during the party.
The party host will lead the group activities but is not
responsible for disciplining children in the group who
are misbehaving.
Can I select the present for my child?
Included in the birthday package is a present for the
birthday child from the Museum. This present choice is
made by the Museum is not exchangeable. Contents of
the lolly bags may differ from party to party.
Do you look after the birthday presents?
Parents will need to look after any birthday presents.Please bring a large bag in which to store them you
can cloak this bag at the Admission desk after the party,
and before you proceed into the exhibition.
Can I take photographs?
Photography is permitted during birthday parties and in
The Wiggles exhibition.
