and for encountering

the natural world

but …

this report raises

concerns over

the future quality

of UK parks

and Scottish

research shows

that the gap

between what

people expect

from their parks

and the reality of

their local park is

widening

– but it’s not all

negative …

• 61% visit parks at least once a week

• 62% spending time in parks in very important to their quality of life

• 48% think the current condition of their park is good (fair = 41%)
