Question. “Compare and contrast the ways in which ‘BBC News at 6’and ‘Channel 5 News’ construct news to appeal to theiraudiences, focussing specifically on their use of mise-en-scene.”
Guidance.• Look back at the notes made previously.• What are the key elements of mise-en-scene used in TV News Broadcasts?• What elements are similar, and what are different in BBC News and Channel 5 News?• How do these elements help to create / construct / shape their version of the news?• What is significant in the similarities & differences in the use of mise en scene? (Could it be that the two
