1.4.2 Trigger-Based Data Replication (SAP LT) (New & Changed)

The trigger-based data replication based on SAP Landscape Transformation (SAP LT) provides thefollowing new and changed features:• Multi-system support capabilities (new)

• 1:N replication for SAP source systems now available

One SAP source system is connected to separate SAP HANA systems or to the same systemwith different schema name. If one source system is connected to several target schemas(currently up to 1:4 supported), the relevant target schema can be selected in the data provisioningUI of the SAP HANA modeler.

• Enhanced N:1 replication

The table RS_ORDER is enhanced in order to support N:1 replication. The previous approachthat used table RS_ORDER_EXT is now obsolete. The table structure is automatically adaptedby a monitor job.

• Configuration and monitoring dashboard (new & changed)• New configuration settings: client specific load and replication.

If this option is activated, the data is only read from the client which is specified in the RFCconnection.

• Master job settings

The master job can now easily be stopped and restarted for the relevant configuration.

• Enhanced statistics

Additional statistical data can be displayed in the “Statistics” tab page. You can view the numberof records that have been replicated and the relevant operation (insert, update, delete).

• Other improved features (changed)• New UI to specify transformation content

With the new version a combined transaction for all table settings is available. Every table settingcan now specified via a unified UI.

• Maintenance events in source systems

Keep database triggers activated despite Table Changes. With DMIS 2010 SP07, the SLT serverchecks the source table for structural changes. If additional non-key fields are added, thereplication process is paused and the table structure in SAP HANA and the replication object isadapted accordingly. Afterwards, the replication for the relevant table continues.
