Adobe Photoshop

Photoshop is a graphics editing programme that I used to edit my images and create the front cover. I edited the images I used for my production work, and put together my front cover using the programme. I learned how to use many Photoshop tools, and I now know how to edit the curves of an image, how to cut out an image and other processes.

Scanner

I used a scanner during the pre-production stage to make a digital copy of my drawn-out plan for my production work.

QuarkXPress

QuarkXPress is a programme used for creating complex page layouts. I used it to make my contents page and my double page spread.

DSLR camera

I used a DSLR camera (digital single-lens reflex camera) when taking the images required for my production work. I used a DSLR camera because it takes high quality images, and has a screen that shows the picture you just took. This makes it easy to review the pictures, and decide if they are suitable or not.
