To be placed in Intro. to Algebra, each student must meet the following criteria:

Students who do not earn at least a 70% in Pre-Algebra this year will have to attend summer school to meet the requirements or repeat Pre-Algebra in 7th grade.

To be placed in Accelerated Algebra, each student must meet the above criteria with the following additions:

Continued placement in P.A. during 6th grade

Final course grade: 90% or better

• 30 - 45 minutes per night (This includes reviewing notes each day)

• Understand that there are many methods

• If child is really struggling they should show their attempted work and then stop. This is a way for me to see what they know.

• Students are responsible to ask before or during class if they are confused
