Breakfast: 6 a.m. – 11 a.m. (Door Price: $8, $5 for ages 2-10/61+)

Lunch: 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. (Door Price: $10, $7 for ages 2-10/61+)

Dinner: 5 p.m. – 10 p.m. (Door Price: $12, $9 for ages 2-10/61+)

Late Night Options: 10 p.m. – 6 a.m.

Our largest dining facility offers a variety of fresh, all-you-care-to-eat options, along with flat screen TVs, free printing, Wi-Fi, and late-night study spaces. A variety of pre-made and restaurant style made-to-order items are available at over nine food stations, including a salad/fruit bar. We also serve Caribou Coffee.

Chesterton’s At The CloistersChesterton’s is a member-only community center and pub. Membership is included for all apartment residents with the purchase of any meal plan. To activate memberships, students must successfully complete the university’s Alcohol Education Seminar.

Who is required to purchase a meal plan? All residents of Roers, North, Hillside, Greg Butler, Boniface West, Saint Scholastica and Saint Joseph’s Halls are required to purchase a Diamond, Sapphire, or Topaz plan. Residents of the Subiaco, Monte Cassino, Boyle and Diechert are required to purchase a Diamond, Sapphire, Topaz, or one of the Anytime Block (150, 100 or 50) Plans. Commuter students may purchase any of the plans described in this brochure.

Can I change my meal plan? Students may change their meal plan option prior to the close of business on Tuesday, September 18, 2018; these changes may be made at the Student Development Office. Meal plan changes will be billed according to the date of change on a prorated basis.

Can I cancel my meal plan? Students may cancel their meal plan prior to the close of business on Tuesday, September 18, 2018. Meal plan cancellations will be billed according to the date of change on a prorated basis. Students who are required to be on a meal plan must remain on a meal plan for the entire semester.

Can I use my meal plan for friends or family? Students may use their Guest Passes or Marauders Bucks to treat friends and family to a meal in the Crow’s Nest Campus Restaurant. Marauders Bucks may also be used to treat guests at Marauders’ Cove. Other options are to use Universal Bucks, Cash, or Credit Card.

What are the dates of service under my meal plan? Under the terms of each plan, 24-hour meal service will begin for students at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 2, 2018. New students who take part in New Student Orientation will be provided with meals during the orientation program. Meal service is not provided during Thanksgiving Break under the meal plans. Meal service will end at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 for Thanksgiving Break. After Thanksgiving, 24-hour meal service will resume at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 25, 2018. The meal service for the semester for each meal plan will end at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 20, 2018.

What are Marauders Bucks? Marauders Bucks may come with the purchase of a meal plan. Marauders Bucks can be used to make purchases at the Crow’s Nest Campus Restaurant, Marauders’ Cove, all campus vending machines, the concession stand in the McDowell Activity Center, and the University Bookstore. Additional Marauders Bucks cannot be added, but Universal Bucks can be added and used in the same way. All Marauders Bucks must be used by the end of the semester. Unused Marauders Bucks are not refundable and cannot be rolled over.

What are Universal Bucks? Universal Bucks are dollars that can be added to a student’s account and be used to make purchases at the Crow’s Nest Campus Restaurant, Marauders’ Cove, all campus vending machines, the concession stand in the McDowell Activity Center, and the University Bookstore. Universal Bucks can be rolled over from semester to semester. Additional Universal Bucks can be added by visiting the Business Office or by phone with a credit card at 701-355-8249.

What is an Anytime Block Plan? Anytime Block Plans are available for students who wish to purchase, 150, 100 or 50 meals. Each plan includes different benefits as listed. The meals must be used by the end of the semester. Unused meals do not carry forward to the next semester.

What meal plan was calculated into my financial aid? All students’ financial aid packages are created based on the Topaz Traditional Meal Plan. Students have the option to choose a different meal plan at this time. Moving forward, students who choose the Diamond Traditional Meal Plan for Fall 2018, will stay at this level for the Spring 2019 semester. For all other students, meal plans will reset to the Sapphire Traditional Meal Plan for Spring 2019, unless a different plan is selected.
