Tip #1:Some caches are easy to find while others may require a long hike. Be sure to check
the difficulty and terrain ratings before you venture out.
Tip #2:Be aware of your surroundings. Take your eyes off of the screen occasionally, so you don’t accidentally trip or wander into an
unsafe area.
Tip #3:The application will only accurately get you
to about 30 feet of the cache. Once in range, you should stow your device and just
start looking around!
Tip #4:When searching for the cache:
• Look for likely places like a hole in a tree or objects that appear out of place or unnaturally placed.
• Refer to the size of the cache you’re searching for. Use the hint feature if needed.
• Take your time and be patient.
