Shipwrecked Imagine you were shipwrecked on an

island with ten people including a: scientist, teacher, carpenter, housewife (mother), clergymen, politician, artist, teenage student, policeman (with gun) and a ten year old.

Look at the list of people above and answer the following questions 1-7 using full sentences.

Branches of Government The executive branch includes the

President, who carries out the laws The judicial branch includes the

courts, which interpret the laws. The legislative branch includes the

Congress, which makes the laws.

government. Rome had the first republic or

representative democracy.

However, loss or theft of a Chromebook is the responsibility of you and your parent.

For $34.40 you can buy insurance for your Chromebook so if it is lost or stolen it will be replaced for no additional cost.

Geography: The Continents Use the world map and write as many names

of continents as you can remember. Then go to our class website – http://daveforrest.net/world And click on the right hand link – World

Geography On-Line Challenge Play the practice test as many times as you

need to get a perfect score. Then label your map with the names of all the continents and map.
