• Cultivate the love for reading, eg read to them before
bedtime, bring them to the library etc
Math and Science
• Authentic application in everyday life, eg For Science-use
science concepts to explain everyday observations,
eg water freezing/ boiling. For Math – use concept
of fraction to divide pizza, measurement of
ingredients when baking

• Monitor the amount of time your child spends on
computers and mobile devices

Other Matters
Absence from school:
Do inform the class teacher if your child is
absent from school.
Medical certificate or letter from parents is
required to cover for valid absence.
If a child is unwell, we encourage parents to
bring your child to the doctor. A maximum of 5
letters will be accepted per semester.

Use of SNAAPP
• The school uses the SNAAPP app as a means of
communication with parents
• Teachers will use it for attendance-taking
everyday
• Consent forms and letters from school will be sent
via this app
• All parents should download this app in order to
receive the intended information from the school
