SYMPTOMETRY: ORIGINATOR ROOT CAUSE THERAPEUTICS

2

What is Symptometry?

Symptometry is not alternative medicine. Also, it is not allopathic (drug) medicine. It is applied therapeutic science that addresses the needs of the cells and the cellular and DNA levels.

What Symptometry Means for You

Root cause therapeuticsTM delivers four important benefits to individuals ready to be in full control of their health:

1. You do not have to live in pain or with disease any longer!

2. You do not need to depend on medication for the rest of your life!

3. No disease (herpes, cancer, genetic disorders, etc.) is incurable!

4. You CAN eat in a way that will prevent illness!

There are those who think that as long as the pill, lotion, or herb can suppress their symptoms, they are cured or healthy. This is not the case.

3

Symptometry uses a scientific selection of particulates to ionize (liquefy) blockages responsible for illness. At the same time, the health-seeker is empowered by the symptometrist with a more refined method for food selection. It is one that makes family health history irrelevant, chronic illness a thing of the past and completely erases the aches and pains of ‘old age’.

Nutrition ‘101’

Nutrition has two sides:

a) an upside that only highlights the nutrients in foods and in beverages and

b) a downside where both nutrients and health disruptors lay.

Nutrition is the process of transferring tissue contents and molecules to the digestive system by eating and drinking. Nutrients come in the form of food, water, beverage and supplement molecules. A department of nutrition has been created in many universities and colleges to teach nutrition.

Page 10: Welcome to Symptometry E-Booksymptometry.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/... · disease. In 1742, British physician James Lind linked scurvy to a dietary deficiency, but he could not

4

The purpose of teaching nutrition is not to teach people how to chew food and drink liquids. Rather, it serves to teach how to use scientific research to enlighten the general public on the dietary habits that will help eradicate diseases and promote health.

Deficiency diseases such as osteoporosis, scurvy, Paget’s disease, etc. have been ruining health as far back as one can remember. However, it was the brilliant idea of one intuitive researcher after another that corrected the dietary mistakes that caused such diseases. This correction made people healthier. In order to understand how Symptometry’s recommendations for cellular nourishment actually empower individuals to be in full control of their health, one must first remember how nutrition evolved.

Why Nutrition is not Enough Vitamin C People had been suffering from scurvy for thousands of years. Symptoms of scurvy include

Page 11: Welcome to Symptometry E-Booksymptometry.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/... · disease. In 1742, British physician James Lind linked scurvy to a dietary deficiency, but he could not

bleeding gums, wounds that would not heal and easy bruising. Nobody knew the cause of this disease.

In 1742, British physician James Lind linked scurvy to a dietary deficiency, but he could not lay his finger on the missing nutrient. However, he recommended that people drink lemon juice or lime juice. The sailors who drank lime juice in 1804 did not have scurvy. Those who did not had the disease. It was not until 1928 that Albert von Szent-Gyorgvi isolated vitamin C from lime juice to show that it was lack of vitamin C that caused scurvy. Thiamin In 1873, a Dutch naval doctor observed that the boat crew members recruited from the East Indies suffered from beriberi more than the deck hands that were recruited from Europe. He could not figure out why this was happening. It was Dr. Takaki, a Japanese naval doctor who observed that the sailors who ate dry milk, vegetables and meat in addition to white rice did not suffer from beriberi. He then established that

Page 12: Welcome to Symptometry E-Booksymptometry.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/... · disease. In 1742, British physician James Lind linked scurvy to a dietary deficiency, but he could not

beriberi was caused by a certain nutrient deficiency. In 1926, Jansen and Donath, two Dutch scientists, isolated thiamin from rice hull. This discovery was significant because it showed that the process of milling removed thiamin from rice. Then, it was eating rice, which lacked thiamin that caused beriberi. Governments then passed a law making the enrichment of white rice mandatory. Today, thanks to this nutritional research, nobody suffers from beriberi after eating white rice. Selenium Since 1922, nutritional scientists had been aware of the role of vitamin A in the reproductive functions of humans as well in the retina. Also, in 1922, researchers discovered that rats, which were fed food that was deficient in vitamin E did not reproduce. In China, researchers observed that most people from the Keshan province suffered from cancer and a kind of cardiovascular disease called Keshan disease. When the soil was tested it was found to be lacking selenium.

Page 13: Welcome to Symptometry E-Booksymptometry.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/... · disease. In 1742, British physician James Lind linked scurvy to a dietary deficiency, but he could not

7

After the provincial government passed a law making it mandatory to incorporate selenium into the soil, the cancer rate as well as the incidence of heart disease dropped significantly. Moving Beyond Nutrition These are a few examples showcasing the contribution of scientific research to the promotion of health. My problem is there are people who drink lime juice and still bleed from their gums. I used to be one of them.

Then, there are people who eat foods that are deficient in vitamin E and yet they are able to have children. People can eat foods that have selenium and yet they will have cancer; and people can eat foods that have vitamins and yet they will suffer from vitamin deficiency.

This is the puzzle that nutritional research has not been able to solve. The downside of nutrition is that it creates an illusion.

The illusion it creates is the impression that eating a balanced diet and taking vitamins is the right way to prevent diseases. It is not.

A person can ‘eat right’ and still suffer from hair loss. A woman can ‘eat well’ and still have menstrual problems. A child can ‘eat a balanced diet’ and still feel tired most of the time. There are over 3,000 ailments that eating vitamin-enriched and mineral-enriched foods will never help us to prevent or cure. Are these mysteries? No, they are not. It is nutritional research that has not gone far enough.

Root Cause TherapeuticsTM

Symptometry is the field of applied therapeutic science that could be perceived as the natural extension of medical diagnostics, conventional medicine, homoeopathy, nutrition and naturopathy. It teaches what these above-listed disciplines don’t teach. What don’t departments of nutrition teach?

They don’t teach root cause therapeuticsTM. Implied in root cause therapeuticsTM is disease prevention.

Page 15: Welcome to Symptometry E-Booksymptometry.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/... · disease. In 1742, British physician James Lind linked scurvy to a dietary deficiency, but he could not

9

Also, departments of nutrition don’t teach that there are health disruptors in most fruits, legumes, vegetables, cooking oils and grains. It is the health disruptors that make people sick. How do they make people sick? It depends on the chemicals that the item, which was ingested, releases into the body.

The chemicals and the acids that foods release into the body include cyanide, oxalic acid, prussic acid, salicylates, valeric acid and alkali. Processed foods have synthetic chemicals and these chemicals deplete B vitamins and chromium from the body.

Therefore, teaching that fruits and vegetables only supply fresh nutrients is inaccurate. Also, teaching that eggs, fish, seafood and meat supply only protein is very misleading.

All fish and meats are not created equal. For example, most seafood feed on the heavy metals, wastes etc. that are on the riverbed or on the ocean floor. A person who eats seafood is transferring some of their tissue contents into his/her body. Therefore,

Page 16: Welcome to Symptometry E-Booksymptometry.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/... · disease. In 1742, British physician James Lind linked scurvy to a dietary deficiency, but he could not

SYMPTOMETRY: ORIGINATOR ROOT CAUSE THERAPEUTICS

10

person who eats fish that fed on heavy metals will also have some of these metals in his/her tissues. A person who has health disruptors will never be healthy on all the seven fronts.

Don’t Get Used to Being Sick Many of the preliminary signs for chronic and even terminal illness are overlooked by current health practitioners because they are so wide spread. Why are some people forgetful? Why are some students academically dull? Why do some people have a short attention span or they easily lose the focus of a discussion? These are not personality or character issues. Such people are not producing enough norepinephrine and acetylcholine. Why does this matter? Hypertension is also common among individuals who are irritable or are forgetful. Lack of norepinephrine in a person who suffers from sugar imbalance is one of the factors that accounts for hypertension.

Women now make up a larger percentage of the world’s population. Yet the health issues that plague them today have followed them for centuries. A woman is not supposed to have discolored vaginal discharge; she is not supposed to bleed between her periods. It is not an advantage to have menses for less than 4 to 5 days. It is equally unhealthy for a menstrual cycle to last for more than six days. Menstrual cramps and clots in menstrual blood are widely accepted as ‘normal,’ but these are actually signs of more serious health challenges to come. A pregnant woman can take steps to guarantee herself a healthy infant and a natural vaginal childbirth. In addition to avoiding a C-section, a child’s natural vaginal birth can also happen without the mother needing an epidural shot. Additionally, a child is not supposed to be irritable unless (s)he is hungry. The teething process is not supposed to be torture for toddlers and there is a challenge at the cellular level if the teeth do not come in proper alignment. As children grow, acne does not have to be a part of puberty nor does it need to haunt them in adulthood.

For men, erectile dysfunction (ED), hair loss, and prostate health are typically the largest concerns. While many young men pride themselves on excessive erections and frequent masturbation, both symptoms actually contribute heavily to poor prostate health down the road. When it comes to personality, a person is not supposed to be angry consistently. In fact, violent tempers and abusive personalities are not genetic. Disorders that affect personality and quality of life, like autism and Alzheimer’s disease, can actually be reversed and removed thru Symptometry. The health disruptors in the foods and beverages we consume create - and then aggravate - cellular deficiencies and blockages to cause the ailments we have accepted as a part of life.

Optimal Health within Your Reach

A healthy person functions within the paradigm of normalcy. This paradigm governs our sexual behavior, mental attitude, emotional behavior, physical appearance, metabolic functions, and functions of our organs and circulatory system.

Page 19: Welcome to Symptometry E-Booksymptometry.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/... · disease. In 1742, British physician James Lind linked scurvy to a dietary deficiency, but he could not

13

This is why when a person’s behavior is out of line those who are still within the paradigm of normalcy can sense it. They are feeling it because there was a deviation from the paradigm of normalcy.

Do not think Symptometry is advocating conformity. In fact, nobody can truly impose a code of behavior on us. The totality of our cells instinctively knows right from wrong. This is why they impart this knowledge to our mind. Symptometry discovered that when cells are congested or they are deficient in certain nutrients they cause behaviors or symptoms that signal a deviation from normalcy. Since nutrition and conventional medicine cannot solve this problem at the cellular level, Symptometry has to step in and provide root cause therapeuticsTM.

Good nutrition is not a matter of eating what is available or what is culturally acceptable. Food must be selected very carefully so that our cells and our kidneys are not hurt after a meal.

In order to produce human enzymes and hormones, a person must decongest his/her cells and glands. Then (s)he must supply the cells what they use to produce enzymes and hormones. If one doesn’t, (s)he will be deficient in testosterone, estrogen, progesterone, steroids and so on and so forth. Then, (s)he will suffer from diseases associated with such deficiencies. Whether one is battling cancer, fighting allergies or getting over a head cold, Symptometry ionizes the blockages and reverses the deficiencies responsible for the ailment. The Downside of Nutrition: Part I and other self-help Symptometry publications draw the reader’s attention to the health disruptors in the foods we love and explain the dangers they pose to human lives. More importantly, the works of Dr. Maxwell Nartey, DHM, NHD also discuss the underlying causes of deficiency diseases so that the reader can take proactive measures to maintain health. Optimal health is now within your reach.

Meet the Founder of Symptometry: Dr. Maxwell Nartey, DHM, NHD

17

Dr. Maxwell Nartey is a Doctor of Homoeopathic Medicine, a Doctor of Natural Health and a Fellow of the British Institute of Homoeopathy. While his personal health challenges led him to pursue a career in natural health and homeopathy, it is Dr. Nartey’s thorough education in the sciences and his repeated case-study successes that led him to establish Symptometry. After fourteen years of laboratory research and applicability, he made root cause therapeuticsTM available to the public. Dr. Nartey continues to use this exquisite knowledge to specialize in challenging medical cases while providing health maintenance care for the general population, pregnancy management, and after-birth care for both the mother and the child. In 2010, Dr. Nartey went on to establish the American College of Symptometry to train additional Doctors of Symptometry. The Board of Symptometry fully accredited American School of Symptometry in 2011.In 2012, the state of Illinois granted The School 501(c)3 status as a not-for-profit entity.

Symptometry teaches cell nourishment, not nutrition, and it deliberately bypasses the use of pharmaceutical drugs and questionable theories when restoring a person’s health. The copyright office of the library of Congress, Washington D.C. has recognized under # Txu 1-621-370 the names Symptometry, therapeutic science, deconstructive research, health disruptors, correlation diagnostics, applied quantum physics and root cause therapeutics as Dr. Maxwell Nartey’s inventions. As such, they are protected under intellectual property rights. Dr. Nartey is a regular health contributor to Original Native Radio, hosted by Coach Khayr Love. This BlogTalkRadio.com program has a worldwide audience.

Additionally, he has made contributions on health to

• Anita Collins’ My Children’s Children show at WGNU 920 AM in St. Louis,

• The Bernie Hayes Show at WGNU 920 AM in St. Louis,

• Elder Boaz’s show in New York and Michigan, and • The Conscious Vibrations Broadcast in New York.
