Consequences for choosing not
to show S.H.A.R.K. behavior:
Step 1:
Warning
• Student writes incident on
reflection form. Form remains on
student’s desk.
• Form does not go home, but is filed. It
is a reminder to show SHARK behavior
the rest of the day.
Step 2:
Refocus Desk
• Student sits at refocus
desk to complete
refocus form.
• Student remains at desk
for 5 minutes.
• Form goes home for parent signature
returned and filed. It is a final
reminder to show SHARK
behavior the rest of the day.
Refocus in another roomStudent refocuses and completes form in
another class room for 10 minutes.
Parent signature is required on reflection
sheet, returned, and filed.
Teacher contacts student’s parents.
