All about Mrs. KreuzerHello, my name is Brianna Kreuzer (formally Miss. Seitz). I have been teaching for 9 years with Edmonton Catholic Schools. I have taught everything from Pre-K to grade 3, but grade 1 is what I love most! I have recently completed my Masters degree in Education and hope to take on new roles in my future as an educator. I love the community at St. Francis of Assisi and cannot wait to work with you and your
child this school year!
Classroom Rules
As a class we have come up with rules for our classroom family. Students have all agreed to take care of our shared space and to care for one another like a family.
Expectations
Agendas: Please check your child’s agenda every day after school. We will be using these as a way to communicate things happening at school.
Things like field trip forms, information about the school, spelling test information, etc. will all be put in the agendas.

Home Reading Program: I will begin to send books home for you to read with your child starting in October. Please try to make reading a part of your nightly routine, this will help your child progress in grade 1.
Some of the books may be repeated as this is a great way to build the confidence of new readers!
Google Classroom:If your child is ever away from school for a few days, please check our google classroom for things happening in class!I will keep this updated with lessons and resources that will support student learning.

This is a section in Powerschool where you can review your child’s progress throughout the school year.Assignments and comments will be here along with your child’s report cards at the end of each term.If your child has an IPP it will also be found here.
