GRADUATION AND PROMOTION REQUIREMENTS
Your child must successfully earn the following credits during his/her four years at DAHS.
• 4 credits in English • 4 credits in Social Studies (World Cultures, U.S. History I and II are required) • 3 credits in Science (General Science and Biology are required)• 3 credits in Mathematics (including one credit in Algebra and one in Geometry) • 2 credits in Humanities (World Language, Philosophy, Applied and Fine Arts) • .6 credit in Health • 1.6 credits in Physical Education (one course in PE each year) • 1 credit for the Culminating Portfolio• 6.8 credits in non-required majors/electives• 26 credits are required for graduation, 4 of which must be earned in the senior
year.

7:45 – 10:40 - All students will meet in their Advisor/Advisee classrooms. Schedules and important paperwork will be distributed at this time. Students will also participate in “Welcome Back” assemblies.
10:45 – 2:50 – Students will attend classes on an abbreviated schedule.
Please note that students will eat lunch during their fifth period class. Teachers will provide further instructions for them on the first day.
