8. Relevant Offices and Bodies at Aalborg University
Study Board for Cross-Cultural Studies
The Study Board is the main administrative body for students enrolled in the CCG
programme. Some of the tasks of the Board are: planning each semester, evaluating past
semesters, and granting exemptions from the curriculum, merits etc. Students occupy two
of four seats on the Study Board. Check out the Study Board homepage to find out who
are currently student representatives (URL:
http://www.en.cgs.aau.dk/education/postgraduate-programmes/the-Study-board-of-Cross-

The International Office
The International Office assists both foreign and Danish students. They help foreign
students with many of the practical things related to being a foreign student at Aalborg
University. Among other things they arrange for you to have a Danish ‘buddy’. Moreover,
the International Office can assist you in finding an internship placement abroad. For further
information, visit their homepage at http://internationaloffice.aau.dk.
Student Counselling
The Student Counselling Service provides information about the different programmes, rules

from the university, and much more. Furthermore, our own de-central counsellor
([email protected]) is available for individual counselling concerning study related
issues.
The University Chaplaincy
The Chaplaincy is available for counselling - or just for a talk, whenever you need somebody
to discuss an issue with - be it related to faith or not. The chaplains have offices with regular
office hours at the campus area in Fibigerstræde 15, room 2.233 and in Studenterhuset,
