What does VARSC mean?

Authentic The evidence produced by learners is their own work and

that they can sign to verify this

Reliable Learners are expected to be able to repeat the process

again and again. For example, learners should be able to

plan an effective session on numerous occasions, not just

once

Sufficient The evidence produced must be sufficient to prove that the

learners have met the Assessment Criteria

Current Evidence must be sufficiently recent for the Tutor/Assessor

to be confident that the same level of skills, knowledge

and/or understanding exists at the time of claim
