1. Work in coordination and collaboration with Sales – align your strategies.

2. Create awareness before the event. Let your clients and prospects know about your trade

show appearances by using an e-newsletter and social media. Plan the launch of a new

product/ service around a show to create a buzz. Send invites directly to those prospects

that you may not have connected with in the past.

3. Represent your company in the best light possible. A less-than-professional appearance

does not give your prospect confidence in you or your products and services.

4. Train your stand staff and talk about expectations. Don’t make assumptions that they will

know what to do. Stand staff must be prepared to engage with visitors, quality leads,

present and close business.

5. Think about the things that you are going to be measured on to design the onsite programs.

Think about the questions your management will ask after the show and plan to collect the

facts and figures for reporting and statistics.

6. Book your meetings in advance.

7. Book your transportation and accommodate early.

Ultimately, the amount of business that will come out of it is what counts!
