Words from the EditorCulture as a party. Fashion in motion.
What? What is it?A story telling? An event magazine?
What?
One year ago I wanted a Commonuncommon that was volatile, vivacious, vital and very quick at spotting trends, a hothouse
of new ideas. I wanted it to be visionary. But most of all Commonuncommon had to be like a paper video, a
barometer of style…An event magazine! That had to disrupt all expectations.
Commonuncomon is a non-system: it’s a special theorem, an equation of style and at the same time a dis-equation of canoni-
cal rules. On its pages the graphics, pictures and style are made to measure.
Like a dress taking its shape, step by step.Commonuncommon as ‘speakers’ corner’ about fashion, but
above all about the way to fit it, that makes the true difference! Fashion as the root, matrix and coefficient of the imaginary.
Commonuncommon leitmotiv: the street casting ‘all around the world’, integrating ‘common’ ‘uncommon’ people into the com-
munication process by taking picture of them while fitting a brand.I’d like to creating a sort of network among stores-brands-people.
Commonuncommon introduces you WEIRDOES: the third mono-label special project dedicated to Mauro Grifoni.
Commonuncommon & Mauro Grifoni have in common the love for handmade, revisited with a modern eye
and sensibility. And the love for the made-in-Italy.
Tasting it, fitting it!
Say it with…Commonuncommon!
Cultura come party. Moda in movimento.
Ditelo attraverso…Commonuncommon!

List the 10 Weirdest and embarassing moments of your life.
Sorry, I experienced a lot of weird moments in my life, that’s stuff for a whole book. And my most embarassing moments with Bunny Lake? Hard to remember. Cause mostly they are buried behind some desastrous hangover or blackouts. But no1 is maybe the morning after a show, where our soundguy found mylaptop and some of my clothes outside a hotelroom, on the streets. Prettyembarassing was also when I once woke up alone in the backstage room in the morning, with my equipment gone. And last week in vienna, when I collided with the door to my appartment in the wee hours. Oh, I had some serious disco-damage. But I swear to be a better person soon.
What do you think about influencing the fashion and trend system?
Are we? You think so? Wow, thats an incredible compliment.
Do you have an opinion about common people?
Now, what’s common? Thats a definition thing for me. Basi-cally I’m from a lower middle class background, so that’s pretty common. On the other hand, I was a very isolated child, far away from the jocks in school. And I wascaptured in my own dream world, populated with weirdos and freaks, living and dead poets, musicians, filmmakers. And I still am.Basically, I don’t believe in class definitions, social differences or gender restrictions. I don’t care where someone comes from and I despise intellectual snobism. But I do believe in romantic art ideals versus the daily life with jobs, money and sports. And I will always have problems to function in this latter world.
Do you believe in a democratic sense of ART (such as MUSIC, DESIGN, LITERATURE, FASHION, Etc,)?
I strongly believe in democratic politics. But the art world, from authors to painters and fashion designers, is by defini-tion crowded bysolitary, selfcentered, often dictatoric personalities. which is not a badthing, cause we need these often blind and egocentric vi-sionaries.On the other hand I feel personally drawn to collective forms of art, like music and filmmaking. cause the communica-tion with other creative people is for me the most enjoyable aspect of art. and since I grew up in love with movies and songs, I really like mass produced art like music albums, movies, fotobooks, comics. I find it very interesting and sub-versive for artists to connect with bigger crowds.
What do you expect from COMMONUNCOMMON Magazine in the future?
Uncommon pictures and stories! All the best, we Bunnies love you guys.

BIOMIMETICAGabriele Tempesta, Michela Pasini, Oisin Orlandi

very chic and rigorous, with a clearly visible imprinting of
‘upcoming-design’An added value to the
already known ‘Surplus’.
all’interno vendita complementi d’arredo e progettazione interni e giardini.

‘Atelier VM is the common passion
of two designers. An unusual place where sophisticated
and surprising Jewels take form, an intriguing shop t
hat I stop to look at, a space lived and shared in the name of
art. The jewellery produced evokes a spirit suspended
between legend and myth, but at the same time created on
the base of an extremely modern conception.’

‘Tired after my walking around the
streets of Milan and hungry, I found myself in
front of a ‘bistroT-erbolarium’ with a truly innovative
concept: on sale just natural food and body care and it is a
really relaxing food court in the Green!
The first one in Italy and Europe, founded in 2008.

add some raspberries and cover with some yogurt cream; end it spreading with a little of cocoa powder on the top.
The experience of dipping the spoon through different textures, and then taste them, will be really pleasant and palatable!!
For a better result, I advice you to serve the dessert to your partner sunday early in the morning while he/she’s still sleeping... waking him/her with
Jamiro’s “You give me something” played reeeeeeeeeeeeeeally loud...
if he/she answered you with a kiss... well, so it’s true love!!
