Proper Nouns that name specific people, places or things

Concrete A noun you can taste, touch, see, hear or feel

Abstract A noun you cannot taste, touch, see, hear or feel

happiness, peace, comfort

Collective Nouns that name singular groups with more than one member

We often use pronouns to avoid the awkwardness that repeating several nouns creates.

You can’t touch a
