Menus/submenus: Many drop down menus; try to keep the submenus to a minimal. Many of the drops down menus have too many options and it makes it hard for visitors to navigate, simplify the menus and make it a broader category for the information presented on the sub menus. Graphics/Visuals: Font and font size are constant, bolded where needed. There is a lot of writing on each page which makes it difficult for a reader to understand. For easy understanding I would use fewer words and more videos and graphics that show the message you are trying to get across. Keep pictures up to date and current, try to post pictures from recent events on website page and create slideshows or albums that show what the event was and how it contributes to the scouts of GSCCS . Keep text boxes short and sweet with only the most important information being given. Usefulness: There are many different places to find the donate button on the website which is good for people who want to donate. The picture slide show on the main home page shows what GSCSS is about and that is important to have on your home page. I believe that a visitor would repeatedly visit this site because there is a lot of useful information about GSCCS. Over-all the GSCCS website is current, organized, informational, and good with graphics/videos.

Re: Website Recommendations- Girl Scouts Central California South

Message:

Time/Currency: Very good at keeping up-to-date events on website,

recently updated the 2015 calendar.

Menus/submenus: Many drop down menus; try to keep the submenus to a

minimal. Many of the drops down menus have too many options and it

makes it hard for visitors to navigate, simplify the menus and make it a

broader category for the information presented on the sub menus.

Graphics/Visuals: Font and font size are constant, bolded where needed.

There is a lot of writing on each page which makes it difficult for a reader to

understand. For easy understanding I would use fewer words and more

videos and graphics that show the message you are trying to get across.

Keep pictures up to date and current, try to post pictures from recent

events on website page and create slideshows or albums that show what

the event was and how it contributes to the scouts of GSCCS . Keep text

boxes short and sweet with only the most important information being

given.

Usefulness: There are many different places to find the donate button on

the website which is good for people who want to donate. The picture slide

show on the main home page shows what GSCSS is about and that is

important to have on your home page.

I believe that a visitor would repeatedly visit this site because there is a lot

of useful information about GSCCS. Over-all the GSCCS website is current,

organized, informational, and good with graphics/videos.
