Nonprofits Matter is a 501(c)(3) consortium of highly experienced nonprofit professionals who
understand the challenges of sustainability in today’s economy, particularly for smaller nonprofit
organizations. The organization was founded in 2013 with broad input and support from Chicago’
s nonprofit and philanthropic community.
We offer — a range of training services — from customized coaching to full-day or hour-long
workshops utilizing tools and techniques we’ve adopted from business, politics, social media and
other fields to help organizations:
● Assess their message, image & engagement activities
● Develop messages that inspire people to get involved
● Select images that put a human face on the issue
● Create engagement strategies that mobilize people to take action
Where Nonprofits Matter cannot meet the need, effort is made to connect nonprofits with the
right experts and resources that can.
