WEBQUEST – Of Mice and MenThe Question:What historical, geographic, and social issues influenced John Steinbeck to write Of Mice and Men?

Everyone in the class will become either a sociologist, a historian, a psychiatrist, a geographer, a biographer, or a cultural anthropologist and will make a presentation to the class which will include answers to the assigned questions for that role.

Each group needs to create a Study Guide for their presentation.

Everyone in the class will be responsible for the information. This means taking notes during the presentations.

Each group member shall: be diligent in completing their research and having it ready for Friday. be precise and thorough in completing the posed questions. participate fully in group discussions. take notes on the information presented by their peers.

Each group shall: be responsible for constructing an edited slide show that fully explains the

issues. No longer than 10 slides, no shorter than 7 slides. Must be cohesive – decide on

theme, try to use same ratio of print to graphics. Must share with [email protected] as well as with other group members
