Welcome to WebjamLet's get you ready for better collaboration with your customers and colleagues — you'll now be working together to achieve more!

Top Tip 1: How to Add Great Content to Your Site

Drag and Drop Modules  

• Once you sign in, you'll be able to easily edit your website.

• Simply click on the EDIT SITE tab and you'll see the dotted pink lines appear that signify the columns that make up the site.

• Over to the right you'll see a blue square, if you click on this you can add more columns.  

• You'll see when you hover over the pink lines that you can actually move them from left to right, shrinking or expanding the width of each column.

 Add Great Content to Your Site 

• From within EDIT SITE click on the MODULES tab and you'll see the module library open.  

• Go to the module that you like and click ADD TO PAGE and when you look below at your website you will see this module has appeared on your page.

• If it is easier for you, you can click on any of the modules and while holding your mouse down drag and drop them anywhere onto your page.  

• Experiment with adding different modules to your page.

• Click the EDIT button on a module to change that particular module.

• If you are feeling adventurous try creating a new page by click on the blue page shape just below your sites header bar.

Top Tip 2: Customise Your Website & Easily Access Your Dashboard

Customise Your Website  

• Head over to the STYLES TAB and choose from one of our many template styles.

• Or, if you prefer, you can create your own style and change everything from font colours to background images using the CUSTOMISE STYLE TAB.

 Easily Access Your Dashboard 

• You can access your Dashboard as soon as you sign in: it's in the TOP NAVIGATION BAR.

• Your Dashboard has 4 main tabs features.

• MY ACTIVITY, which is an activity log of all your interactions on the site.

• MY NETWORKS, which shows the list of Microsites that you belong to.

• MY CONTACTS, which shows you everyone you are following.

• ACCOUNT INFORMATION, from here, you can also access and change your PROFILE as well as get over to the Editors Community Channel that has lots of helpful tips on how to get the most out of your Webjam platform.

Effortless internal and external collaboration is the way to do business. However, not all conversations are for everyone. With Webjam you’ll be able to easily and securely control group memberships and privacy levels, giving your workgroups the right level of data protection controls.

Top Tip 3: How to Get the Privacy Controls You Need

Customise Your Page 

• Head on over to the MODULES TAB which sits below the top bar on your main menu.

• The modules are categorised into SUB-TABS which you can browse through to choose new content, media and widgets

• Click the '+' BUTTON to add to your page.

• Alternatively, just drag and drop the module to the location you want to place it in.

Changing Your Privacy Settings 

• Each website, page and module can be set to a different privacy level.

• When you create a new website (from the create new Webjam link in the top bar) you can choose the privacy setting of the entire website.

• Afterwards, you can change the privacy of each website page from the SETTINGS TAB.

• To change the privacy of each module, click EDIT in the MODULE HEADER and change the Access Level.

Webjam allows your team to quickly get to know who knows what—recognising your experts and resources—by bringing your people's knowledge to the centre of your organisation for quick access to expertise, where it's fully accessible to whoever needs it whenever it's needed.

Top Tip 4: Creating a New Webjam and Inviting Your Contacts

Creating a New Webjam

• If you have Internal Pack 3 or External Pack 4 you can create a new microsite simply and easily.

• Create a brand-new microsite or copy your existing website to use as the basis of your new microsite by clicking the CREATE NEW WEBJAM BUTTON in the top bar.

• Microsites can be used so that different departments within a company have their own smaller community, or to create specific communities of interest for your members or customers.

 Inviting Your Contacts

• Once you have your website up-and-running with content you'll be ready to invite people to join your community.  

• On your website click the EDIT TAB and then from there the MEMBERS TAB to invite people to join your website.

• You can add a NEW CONTACT by clicking on their user name and adding them as a contact.

• Alternatively, you can request people to join from within the MEMBERS TAB or even by using the INVITE FRIENDS MODULE.

Webjam gives you the ability to engage simultaneously across multiple channels. Not only will you get better feedback and ideas from your community, you'll be able to respond to them when they arise. Did you know that community members that are better engaged with your company are also more engaged with each other? They’re key to building your social community: boosting site traffic significantly and bringing new customers.

Top Tip 5: Engaging With Your Community

Upload your Photos 

• From the MY PHOTOS MODULE, click the ADD PHOTOS BUTTON to bring up the Image Library

• Click the UPLOAD TAB and then follow the prompts. 

• Simply insert the photo you want into a module from the Image Library by selecting the INSERT BUTTON above the photo.

 Engaging With Your Community 

• It's easy to leave a message on a bulletin, reply to comments in a forum or to 'LIKE' comments in your Activity Feed.

• To make the most of your interactions, you can upload photos, pod casts, files and straight into the Activity Feed

Keep Track with Your Activity Feed 

• The Activity Feed on your Homepage allows you to easily view what your community is up to and what's been happening in the different groups and microsites that you're a member of.

Top Tip 6: Working Your Stats to Promote Your Webjam

Promoting Your Webjam• BADGES are a great and a very easy way to link to your website community from blogs, forums and

websites.

• Just click the PROMOTE TAB to view a selection of badges, make your choice then copy and paste the code in the text box onto any website on the internet. 

• You can add a badge to a FORUM you participate in, to your company website, online resume or second blog, or simply leave a message and your badge on your friends' websites if you prefer.

 Working Your Stats 

• It couldn't be easier to check the number of people who have visited your website and the number of times your website has been viewed.

• To see your daily, weekly and monthly stats go to the STATS ICON TAB. 

• You'll see a Line CHART OF PAGE VIEWS (the pink line) and VISITS (the green line), plus the total values for today, yesterday, two days ago or back to when you started.  

• To easily see the stats on any of your pages, you can simply add the STATS MODULE from the MODULES from the TOOLBOX TAB.
