WHAT IS GIRLS WHO CODE?
To close the gender gap in technology.
OUR MISSION
THE PROBLEM
In a room of 25 software engineers, only 3 are women.
In middle school, 74% of girls express interest in STEM, but when choosing a college major, only 0.3% of high school girls select computer science.

OUR RESULTS 65% of Clubs participants say they are considering a major or minor in Computer Science because of Girls Who Code
57 top companies have pledged to hire Girls Who Code alumnae.
● FREE computer science programs for 6th-12th grade girls to explore coding in a fun and friendly environment.
● Meet during the academic year after-school or on the weekends
● Hosted in schools, colleges, community centers, and libraries
