Faculty Development Program
Department of Computer Science and Engineering is organizing FDP on Cloud Computing in
collaboration with National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research NITTTR,
Chandigarh from 5th to 9th December, 2016. Cloud computing is a type of Internet-based computing that
provides shared computer processing resources and data to computers and other devices on demand.
The practice of using a network of remote servers hosted on the Internet to store, manage, and process
data, rather than a local server or a personal computer.
Faculty Development Program
Research Methodology plays vital role in academics. Research in simple terms refers to search for
knowledge. It is a scientific and systematic search for information on a particular topic or issue. It is
also known as the art of scientific investigation. Department of Computer Science and Engineering has
organized 5 days Faculty Development Program on “Research Methodology” in collaboration with
NITTTR, Chandigarh 9th to 13th January, 2017. The knowledge of research methodology provides
training to new researchers and enables them to do research properly. It helps them to develop
disciplined thinking or a ‘bent of mind’ to objectively observe the field. The FDP has provided very
important content and good coverage to the things required for research and its related technology.
