Opening Group: ● Today is Wednesday, April 8, 2020. Have a good Spring Break everyone!! ● Count from 1-8 and show 8 with your fingers● Counting 1-20 ● Days of the Week Song ● Months of the Year Song ● What’s the weather today?● Freeze Dance

○ Elmo Freeze Dance ○ Sesame Street We Got the Moves ○ For a fun change have your parent call out a number and hold up that many

fingers when you freeze or have your parent hold up a letter and you call out the name when you freeze. Just like we do in class!

● Share the News○ If you could live anywhere where would you pick? Somewhere cold or hot, by

the water, in a desert, on a mountain, on a farm, in a zoo, in the park.

● Letter of the week M○ Sesame Street ABC's ○ Letter M ○ Use the letter M to write the word Mom then draw a

picture of your Mom!○ A fun letter game: Letter BingoMr. MMunching Mouth

Graphics Practice:

● Take a blank piece of paper and something to write with and make donuts. Start by making the big outer circle, next make the smaller circle in the middle, last put some sprinkles on top.

● Practice writing your name ● Practice drawing a person● Practice writing the letter M. Use the letter

formation paper in the packet to see how to help your child form the letter.

Math: I have, who has: ● I Have Who Has - shapes and numbers● The cards and directions are in the packet that was sent home with your child.● Cut out the cards and make sure there is a shape or a number on both sides so the

game can be played. ● For a fun challenge pick out a few shapes and see if your child can name them and draw

IXL Directions English or IXL Directions Spanish. There are Math and Language Arts activities. Please make sure your child does a mix of

both subjects. Have your child do 10-20 minutes of activities, if they are having fun they can stay on
