MAJOR DUTIES: Provides Force Protection for construction and repair projects by escorting the contractor work force and visitors into controlled and restricted areas. Monitors interior and exterior gates, assures proper identification of all pedestrian or motor traffic, clears visitors and maintains prescribed records. May also escort visitors or direct authorized personnel to other organizations as needed. Questions suspicious persons, notifies Security Forces of security concerns and presents oral reports of incidents. Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Six (6) months of general experience or one (1) year of education above the high school is required.

General Experience includes progressively responsible work which indicates ability to acquire the knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs) needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled.

Substitution of Education for Experience: Successfully completed education above the high school level in a ROKG authorized or recognized college, university, business, technical or secretarial school may be substituted for the experience required at grades KGS-03 through KGS-05 level. One full year of full-time academic study is 30 semester hours, or equivalent, of college or at least 20 hours of classroom instruction per week for approximately 36 weeks in a business, secretarial, or technical school.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE COMPETENCY:

1. The American Language Course Placement Test (ALCPT) score of 50 or above and successfully passing the English Comprehension Interview (ECI) is required.

2. The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of 250 and higher or the Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC) score of 350 and higher may be substituted for ALCPT requirement. Applicant must submit the TOEFL/TOEIC official copies of test score. TOEFL/TOEIC scores are valid for two years from the exam date.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSAs): To be rated best qualified, applicants must have demonstrated possession of the following KSA’s essential to the performance of the duties of the position.

MAJOR DUTIES: Serves as a tour travel specialist on a military installation, provides continuous, appropriate and varied tour and travel program information of recreational, social, cultural, special interest and creative nature. The incumbent maintains close relationship with local tour companies, hotel managers, and local government officials to facilitate inter-cultural cooperation. Contact the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO), and other related agencies Army Leisure Travel Services (LTS), restaurant reservations, and clearance. From these sources obtains accurate in and out of country tour and travel information and materials. Directs and daily 220-miles passenger bus (Wolf Pack Wheels) services. Assesses the profitabilities of operation, daily sales and cost figures. Recommends changes in fees and service charges based on competing modes of transport and cost of operation. Maintains and updates passenger seating schedules and coordinates passenger reservations with end-line terminal ticket office. Conducts daily audit of ticket sales and accountability of tickets. Plans and organizes tour program throughout the Republic of Korea. Plans the detail tour activities, such as preparing itineraries, arranging transportation, etc. Arranges special interest tours such as gourmet tours, opera groups, camera bug tour, Yellow Sea Fishing Tours and special trip for unit. Provides information to participants regarding overall tour program; assists in planning personal sightseeing trips, providing consultant services for personal traveling independently in Korea. Assigns and schedules drivers for monthly tour programs, athletic teams, Armed Force Entertainments, Tops in Blue, NFL tour, Cheerleaders Shows, special tours and protocol. Supervises the Wolf Pack Wheels Bus drivers and makes Job assignments. Recommends leave schedules of drivers, notes leave abuse and recommends corrective action. Makes recommendations to supervisor on such matter as reassignments and the recognition of outstanding performance. Adjusts informal complaint or refers to supervisor. Oversees maintenance of Wolf Pack Wheels Buses by coordinating AAFES vehicle maintenance shop and off base maintenance company. Prepares request of purchase (AF Form 9-2209) for purchasing agent of contract buses as required. Prepares cost sheets computing tour fares to ensure self-sustaining tour operation. Maintains tour bulletin boards and displays information materials on tour and services available such pamphlets, maps, reservation forms, and other handout materials. Accepts cash, checks and credit card payment from participants for scheduled tour such as tour deposits, registration fares, hotel reservation, funds, etc. Has responsibility for accountability of cash or checks collected and change fund received from supervisor. Maintains complete and accurate records of all tour and travel services processed through the tour desk, to include tour cost sheets, payment records, and tour evaluations. Provides information on tour activities to Community Center Director and Program Director in preparing publicity for tour and tour services and in planning. Armchair Travel Nights, special programs, etc. Serves as tour guide and interpreter for in-country tours. Performs other duties as assigned.

OTHER SIGNIFICANT FACTS: ROK and US Government Driver license is desirable. May work uncommon tour of duty. Knowledge of English language is required. Assigns and schedules drivers for monthly tour and daily Wolf Pack Wheels services programs and special tours.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: One (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level is required.

Specialized Experience is defined as experience which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs) to successfully perform the duties of that position.

MAJOR DUTIES: Operates heavy engineering and construction equipment such as bulldozer, trencher, scraper, road grader, roller, loader, and similar equipment. Depending on the pieces of equipment to which assigned, performs a variety of operations such as digging, moving, leveling, compacting, excavating, ripping of earth surfaces and lifting and moving of heavy objects using necessary attachments as required. Services and checks equipment before, during and after each operations and performs preventive maintenance. Performs other duties as required.

WORKING CONDITION: Most work is performed outside in all type of weather in an open driver’s seat or platform and in swampy places, creeks, on flat land, hills, mountains and all types of slopes and grades. Workers are subject to overturning, noise, dust, dirt and fumes from the motor and exhaust.

Removes, cuts, and installs mobile equipment body glass; removes grazed, racked, or broken glass; straightens, repairs, or replace window channels and opening mechanisms; cuts glass to proper sixe, using cutting wheels and glass pliers; edges of glass; installs glass in body and connects and adjusts raising or opening mechanisms. Cleans, tests and repairs coolant and oil radiators and associated parts; cleans radiator and associated parts; cleans radiators and associated parts, using steam or chemical solution; removes and installs new core tubes; removes dents and repairs cracks in outer shell; repairs or replaces fittings; solders with air acetylene and oxyacetylene torch or soldering copper. Refinishes mobile equipment bodies; mixes paint to obtain desire consistency; prepares bodies for paint, removing paint from old surfaces by craping, sanding, or applying paint remover; applies neutralizing and conditioning chemical solutions to bare metal surfaces; covers sections or parts not to be painted; prepares stencils such as registration numbers, base markings, etc. and prepares warning signs, safety signs, traffic signs, etc.; paints bodies using paintbrush and spray gun. Performs other duties as required.

WORK CONDICITONS: Duties are performed in accordance with accepted shop practices and written or oral instructions, and are subject to inspection by supervisory personnel and production inspection personnel. Active, lifting, climbing. Danger of cuts from sharp edges of sheet metal. Danger of burns when using welding torch. Uses safety goggles to protect eyes from flying metal particles.

MAJOR DUTIES: Ensures the lodging quarters are maintained to the proper standards. Conducts the maintenance and upkeep of the lodging quarters and assigned grounds according to AF guidance, or manufacturers, or local instructions. Conducts at least semi-annual facility, and room inspections, and repairs items as needed, recommends CE works request, or replacement. Conducts frequent safety inspections, and performs repairs, and/or notifies Lodging Safety Representative for action. Inspects personal protective equipment, and notifies supervisor of items that need to be replaced. Must use proper tools to maintain housekeeping equipment and lodging facilities. Notifies supervisor of problems outside the abilities of our Lodging Maintenance Department. Performs minor repairs and parts replacement of lodging equipment such as vacuum cleaners, refrigerators, coffee pots, vehicles, lawn equipment, carpet shampooers, etc. Installs and repairs drapery rods, blinds, shower heads, faucets, washers, dryers, towel racks, mirrors, etc. Performs installation, and maintenance of Lodging’s security cameras, and monitors. Recommends replacement of cameras, or other components as needed. Troubleshoots Lodging’s commercial computers, and printer/copiers, recommends needed parts, or replacement. Repairs small holes in walls or doors to include patching, sanding, and painting as needed. Repairs lamps to included rewiring, changing switches, and plugs. Replaces light bulbs and needed. Ensures appliances are operational to included clock radios, televisions, DVD players, stoves, washers, dryers, refrigerators, and air conditioners. Performs maintenance/repairs of these items, and reports operational status to Housekeeping Manager, and Operations Manager. Performs other related duties. Assists with the loading/unloading of deliveries of bulk supplies, furniture, or equipment. Places items according to direction from supervisor.

WORKING CONDITIONS: This position requires much physical effort including; lifting and moving objects weighing 50 lbs. or more. Pushing/pulling heavy equipment, walking, prolonged standing, stooping, bending, and reaching are frequently required. This position also requires working in the heat and cold, indoors, and out. POSITION TITLE & GRADE: Food Service Worker, KWB-7408-02 (1-Part Time)

SALARY: Between 12,081 – 17,119 won per hour (Total hourly compensation when quarterly bonuses are included.)

TOUR OF DUTY: Maximum workweek will not exceed 32 hours.

DUTY LOCATION: Bowling Center, Community Services Flight, 8th Force Support Squadron, Kunsan AB.

AREA OF CONSIDERATION: Outside Korean National Applicant (Priority Group 8 & 9)

NOTE: 1. Applicants may be considered for positions when there are no eligible applicants from priority group 1-7.

MAJOR DUTIES: Prepared food and vegetable for general cooking, salad and sauce using machine or manual methods. Makes coffee in large pot according to number of serving desired, with responsibility for timing and brewing. Prepares and cook to order various food which require a short preparation time, such as various sandwiches, salads, Spaghetti, Bulgogis, Chicken, Fish meat and etc. Adds seasonings to food and regulates cooking temperatures. Serves such items to customers as necessary. May assist in assembling, garnishing and preparing a variety of convenience foods. May work provide work direction to assigned lower service lower service workers, as required. Unloads supply trucks, lifting and moving such incoming supplies. Performs the full range of janitorial duties in maintaining the kitchen area in orderly and clean condition at all times. Maintains garbage collections area in clean and sanitary condition. Performs other duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Work requires continuous standing, walking and stooping and requires heavy physical efforts (e.g. lifting and carrying supply boxes, trash can, beverages weighting average 40-50 pounds.) Working area uncomfortably hot and noisy of equipment. Is exposed to extreme temperature of the walk-in refrigerator and heat of stove and ovens. Is subject to danger of serious burns and to cuts or other injuries in using powered equipment or from slipping on wet floors.
