Hello again 5 th Class! I hope everyone is well. I just want to say thank you again for all your hard work. At this point I am sure you are all very much used to the layout and all the work. As I always say, just do your very best and you will be absolutely fine. A big thank you to Leah Matthews, Daniel Kelly and Sam Sarsfield who sent me pictures of their work on Fair Trade. Well done guys! Remember, anyone who has yet to send in their work can send it to [email protected] . Please note you must get permission from your parent/guardian as they may be displayed on our school website. One again I would like to remind you that the closing date for the “We are Writers” task is the 29 th of May. As I said previously, this book will be published and will be a piece of history read by future generations – So don’t miss your chance to be involved! You can send your poem/story/diary entry/recipe/interview etc to [email protected] before the closing date. Well done to everyone who has sent in an entry already. This week I would like you to continue reading our novel “There’s a Boy in the Girl’s Bathroom” from the PDF I have provided. I have set questions based on last week’s reading (chapters 4-7) So this week I would like you to read chapters 8-10. Once again, Mrs. Hurson has designed some work to assist this week’s comprehension in the Learning Support file. Please note this is not extra work but rather work to assist anyone who would like a bit of help. She has also made a Kahoot and everyone is welcome to take part – Thanks Mrs. Hurson! I have put up some extra work again this week. Also, below are links to Kahoot quizzes based on Week 7 and Week 8 work if you would like to take part. https://create.kahoot.it/share/mrs-cotter-week-7-quiz/f12b9f84-09f1-4919- 9be3-3a743c907d38 1

One again I would like to remind you that the closing date for the “We are Writers” task is the 29th of May. As I said previously, this book will be published and will be a piece of history read by future generations – So don’t miss your chance to be involved! You can send your poem/story/diary entry/recipe/interview etc to [email protected] before the closing date. Well done to everyone who has sent in an entry already.
