Health and Wellbeing (PE) MONDAYLI: I can practise my throwing and catching skills at home.Either with an adult or sibling at home, you are going to be practising your throwing and catching. With a ball (or anything you can throw e.g. rolled up socks) practise throwing your ball underarm and catching with two hands. Once you get more confident, add a clap before catching or touch your head, shoulders, knees and toes to challenge yourself. Share your pictures and videos on Seesaw

Reading Comprehension Tuesday

LI: I am building on my reading skills and learning to read for information

Science WednesdayLI: I am conducting an experiment to identify which solids dissolve in water.

You are going to be a scientist this afternoon! You will be finding out whic solids dissolves in water and the solids that don’t. Please see seesaw activities for clues and full instructions.

Writing ThursdayLI: I can use connectives to extend my sentences.

Write a sentence including each of your spelling words. I’d like you to include a connective in each sentence (and, but, so or because). Don’t forget finger spaces, capital letters and full stops.

Challenge: Write a spelling story – can you write a story which includes ALL of your spelling words and using some connectives?

Science Friday I can help to design experiments to find out what plants need in order to grow and develop.
