Friday – 3Alina from Saratov, Russia, wrote in and shared that when she was pregnant with her second child, her husband was killed, and her mother died 2 months later. Then her child was born and was diagnosed with autism.

“What do I do? Where do I get the strength?”

Please pray for God’s comfort and strength, and that He brings believers around them to support them.

Saturday – 4 The Potapenko family from Chernivtsi recently experienced a terrible accident. Miraculously, the parents and children all survived. Igor wrote, “We listen to Radio M and thank you for what you are doing. You are a ray of light in this world of darkness. You are a much-needed support in this difficult time.” Please pray that listeners who are going through difficulties and trials may find their comfort in God.

Sunday – 5 Please pray for Rudi Wiens, FEBC-Eurasia’s coordinator, as he is working with evangelical leaders in Kazakhstan to help move the ministry of FEBC forward. Pray that God will send the right people as leaders and co-workers in FEBC-Kazakhstan.

Monday – 6 Today is Christmas Eve according to the Julian calendar. It is widely celebrated in Russia, and it is connected more to national traditions than to the Good News. We at FEBC-Russia are doing all we can to help people understand the Gospel of Christ during these holidays.

Tuesday – 7Please uplift in prayer all those listeners who came to visit Christmas services in Evangelical churches because of FEBC’s invitations. Pray that for many of them, 2020 will become the Year of Jesus.

Wednesday – 8 RadioM released a video about how a believer forgave and hugged his brother’s killer. Many people responded with their own stories. One woman wrote in about losing her brother, another person about losing someone in the hospital. Please pray that God heals the hearts of people who have lost ones.

Thursday – 9 Please pray for FEBC-Ukraine’s administrative director Eduard Kurylenko. Pray for God’s blessings as he’s dealing with Ukrainian officials and changing laws, as well as properties, frequencies, and equipment. Also pray for Eduard’s wife Nadia, and their four children.

Friday – 10 Listeners from the war zone in Eastern Ukraine often thank us for the opportunity to share our programs, evangelizing people who are especially open to listening in these days. Please pray for people in the war zone who need God’s hope.

Saturday – 11 “Your program is so important to me. It prepares me to discuss my faith with unbelievers. Only recently, my unbelieving friend said that all religions lead to God, and Christianity is not unique. To be honest, I did not know how to answer her. And here you are with your broadcast! Thank you and thank God!”

— Alla from Vitebsk, Belarus writing to Igor Popov, host of the program “Immersion.”

— Yuri from Ukraine

Please pray for our listeners as they are learning to turn to God in every situation and are helping others do the same.

Tuesday – 14“My husband and I had been married for several years when he began to change. I started changing too, out of bitterness, and soon we had split up. I was in a terrible state of mind.

“And then I heard your program on the air. It became my rehab and recovery. I was so renewed and strengthened that I was able to restore relations with my husband and we are now back together!”

— Lyudmila from Votkinsk, Russia, writing to Eugene after the broadcast of the ‘Good Day’ program.

Thursday – 16Natalia, 35, from Novosibirsk, Russia wrote in to say that she had never read the Bible. Our broadcasts became her first introduction to God’s word. Natalia asked the host to help her find a bible. She was blind and had to have her mother read aloud to her. The host contacted ministers from a local church, and they have been having a Bible study with her for almost two months now, which she participates in with pleasure.

“I used to consider myself a believer,” she writes, “though I didn’t understand what that really meant. Now I know that Jesus Christ is my savior.” Please pray for Natalia and others like her who are taking their first steps in the faith.

He’s working with many programmers, evaluates the effectiveness of each project, and participates in continual update of FEBC’s strategy to reach more Russians for Christ. Also, pray for Alexey’s family, especially his daughter Katya who is facing some health challenges.
