Happy New Year!!!We hope you all had a lovely Christmas break; it seems a long time ago now!Just to keep you all updated, we have now replaced all the windows in the nursery which will ensure everyone is kept warm and cosy through this cold, miserable weather.If you are receiving this newsletter, you will have already logged onto the Famly website/app.

If you are reading this as a paper copy from the nursery, then please ensure we have your up to date email address. This is vital for communication regarding invoices, newsletters and other nursery information.You will receive and be able to pay your Bill from February 2020 via Famly. By using the Famly app you will be able to see monies paid and monies outstanding. Happy New Year Tigers!

We hope you all had a lovely Christmas and new year. This month we will be talking about our new year’s resolutions. We will also be exploring nature looking at where they live in the garden.

Let’s get physical! During February we are going to use our gross and fine motor movements during P.E. activities. We will also celebrate Valentine’s day and pancake day. Yummy!

Zebras

Happy new year! This month we are looking at ‘the zebras at home’. Each child will be drawing a picture of something special they do with their family, based upon this, we will plan an activity for each child to share this event with their friends!!! Happy time.

Also, we will be celebrating Chinese New Year.

1 . . . 2 . . . 3 . . . Blast off! This month the Zebra’s are going to be doing different science experiments. We are going to be making rocket ships, slime and looking for different reactions.

We are also going to be having a special tea party for a special someone’s Birthday (Fran) and also celebrate Valentine’s day and pancake day.

Lions Happy New Year!

This month the Lions will be focusing on stories. We will be joining in with others play, playing with sounds and joining in with repeated parts of stories. We will also be celebrating Chinese New Year, making crafts and trying foods.

Imagine, imagine, imagine what fun we could have pretending to be fire fighters, builders and hair dressers as we focus on our interest of role play. We will find out about different occupations and take part in pretend play based on our own experiences.

We will also be doing a variety of activities for Valentine’s day and Shrove Tuesday.
