New Life What’s Happening at the Zoo… (For 4 th grade) By: Kristin Pulliam and You will create a 3- dimensional habitat for an animal found in a zoo! You will choose any animal you may find in a zoo, and then use a shoebox, fish bowl, cereal box, any item you can imagine to create a habitat for your animal. You will choose any animal you may find in a zoo, and then use a shoebox, fish bowl, cereal box, any item you can imagine to create a habitat for your animal.

Your habitat needs to include: Animal Natural resources found in

Be creative and use your resources!

You are a biologist and have stumbled upon a NEW, unique

First, you will investigate animals- preferably local animals- and choose which animal interests you.Next, you will observe and record-using the “Observation Sheet”-the special adaptations that animal has to be able to live in your area.You will then use the “Report Your Findings” sheet to create a report about that animal.Finally, you will share your report with the class.
