Hello everyone, I hope that this finds you well and that you are all getting some time to get out and enjoy the lovely weather! It has been marvellous hasn’t it? I would like to thank you all for the work that I have received to date and I hope that you all know how happy I am with what you are doing. As I have mentioned before, we are learning in all aspects of everyday life. We are getting to explore and appreciate the beauty of nature around us, along with developing skills in other areas such as cooking, baking, playing music etc… We are also being creative and using our imagination to find ways to keep active in our surroundings, as well as working on practical and art projects. It’s great to hear about all of the different things that you have been up to and I am really impressed with the different ideas coming through! This week for Gaeilge we will be revising the Seasons (na séasúir). Each night (Monday-Thursday) I will give you a season and I would like you to create a scene based on that season. For example, for an t- earrach (Spring), you might draw and colour some lambs, flowers, hedgehogs, swallows, sunsets etc… I would like you to write the name of the season at the top of the page as Gaeilge and draw the picture underneath. You could also label some of the things in your picture (for example, beside the flowers you might draw an arrow and write the word ‘blathanna’). Use your Irish dictionary or the online dictionaries (Teanglann.ie or Foclóir.ie) to help with the labelling. I am asking again this week for one piece of Maths work and one piece of English work to be submitted per week. If possible, I would also like to see one piece of SESE work from any day during the week and I will add the pictures of your work to your individual electronic portfolios. Any work with optional submission is also very welcomed. I hope that you all have a lovely week and keep safe and well. Best wishes, Ms McGuirk.

Hello everyone,

I hope that this finds you well and that you are all getting some time to get out and enjoy the lovely weather!

For example, for an t-earrach (Spring), you might draw and colour some lambs, flowers, hedgehogs, swallows, sunsets etc… I would like you to write the name of the season at the top of the page as Gaeilge and draw the picture underneath.

Best wishes,

Ms McGuirk.

Note to parents:

Thank you all for submitting the children’s work last week. Just a reminder, that if you have any queries at all, do not hesitate to contact me at [email protected]. If anyone has yet to make contact, I would appreciate just a quick email to check in and let me know how you and your child are getting on.

I have included pictures of the Art activity and the Master you Maths answers for Week 22 and Test 22 at the end of this document. There was a problem with some of the links in last week’s document so hopefully this is a better alternative.

Religion May is the Month of Mary

Create a simple May altar in your home. Draw a picture of Mary and colour it in for display at the altar (or print off the picture in the link and colour it in). You could collect some flowers from your garden (e.g. daisies) or draw a picture of some flowers. You might like to write out the Hail Mary prayer and have this displayed at your altar too.

Recite the Hail Mary prayer.

If you have access to a printer, you could use this picture for display. http://www.thecatholickid.com/saint-mary-praying-coloring-page-cnt-mls/

If not, drawing your own will be just as nice!
