02.07.20 “Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in awhile, you could miss it.” - Ferris Bueller Dear AHS Families, It’s the truth. Time flies. It’s hard to imagine, but this week we began talking about next school year with our students in Grades 9-11. Although it may seem a bit early, beginning these conversations now allows students plenty of time to deeply consider their desired pathways and which courses may be best for them in preparing for their future. I cannot overemphasize how important it is for you to be actively involved alongside your son/daughter throughout this process. Please carve out some dedicated time in the next couple weeks to review the FHSD Course Guide with your student and consider which courses they are best suited for. Ultimately, we are asking that students submit his/her course requests by February 18th, keeping in mind that they can change these requests up until May 1st. If you have ANY questions about this process, do not hesitate to reach out to me, your student’s counselor, or Mr. Kammerer ([email protected] ) at any time! Have a GREAT weekend!

“Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in awhile, you could miss it.”

- Ferris BuellerDear AHS Families,

It’s the truth.

Kammerer ([email protected]) at any time!

Have a GREAT weekend!

Rob

P.S. Today marks our halfway point for the third quarter. This is a good time to check your child’s academic progress on Progress Book. As always, if you have concerns or questions regarding your son/daughter’s grades, please reach out to their teacher for information and possible ways to support your child’s academic success from home.

UPCOMING SCHOOL EVENTS: Note: This is not even CLOSE to an exhaustive list, but an attempt to provide parents with major, school-related
