- Students can also use the ‘Cornell Method’ of revision for taking notes. This works by dividing each section of your paper into different sections. 1 Make your main notes, bullet points, graphs and outlines2 Write key words, figures, themes, questions and topics3 Summarise within 24 hours, and use this section to find information when revising

- Students can learn information in different ways

Every student is different and will respond to each learning style with varying degrees of effectiveness. It is important to remember that the more of these style are used, the more engaged the students’ brain will be, but is important to find a learning style that works for them as individuals.

Exam Preparation

- The Pomodoro Technique is a brilliant way to break down revision sessions.

Giving yourself a 5 minute break between each task re energises your brain and prepares students to re-engage with their studies.

Nuts and Seeds are a great snack mostly for the reason they are an alternative to Haribo and Chocolate. Sweets with high sugar levels make people feel lethargic and tired. Sweets only work as very short term stimulant but do not really work as a method of enhancing revision.
