Before implementation, information on the opening of school and appropriate phases will be sent to all employees, students, and parents. Additionally, the individual needs and circumstances of students with disabilities will be addressed.

Phase 1 Phase 2 Phase 3Max. Group

Size10 individuals per group,

including adults(Virtual Learning)

25 individuals per group, including adults

50 individuals per group, including adults

PK-4th Grade Maintain static groups or “cohorts” of students, understanding that individuals within a group may come into close contact and may not always be wearing face coverings,

depending on age. Static groups are cohorts of students who remain together in a learning environment throughout the day. Interaction between static groups on campus is limited.

5th-8th Grade If students are able to maintain physical distance, the group’s composition may change. Students maintain physical distance of 6 feet in classroom/indoor settings to the maximum

extent possible. Physical

Standards High-touch surfaces (e.g., desks, doorknobs, keyboards) are cleaned before and after

each group’s use Groups are separated outdoors (e.g., recess, PE) but do not require a physical barrier.

Shared equipment/structures are sanitized between groups. Entry and exit points will be organized to maintain maximum group sizes and physical

distance recommendations to the maximum extent possible LCCA will have established one or two entry and egress points that enable the flow of

students to move in a single file and single direction during entry, transitions, and exit to enable physical distance

Unused desks and furniture in classrooms will be removed to maximize physical distance and minimize objects that must be cleaned

Establish distance between the teacher’s desk/board and student desks Hallways will be designated with directional flow paths to keep students separated and

to minimize congregations of students Visitors will be limited to appointments, scheduled parent conferences, IEP/504/SBLC

meetings, check in/check out and emergencies. Conferences/meetings will be virtual as possible

Hand hygiene stations will be established so that students may clean hands at arrival, at least every 2 hours, before and after eating, and after using outdoor play equipment

Shared water fountains will be closed. Students and staff are encouraged to bring bottled water from home

Athletics/Band/Chorus

Refrain from contact and high-risk sports. No band/chorus. Contact/high risk sports are allowable within defined groups. Band/chorus may

resume.Symptom

Monitoring Assess students on arrival and throughout the day as needed, including conducting an

initial temperature check. Students and staff with a temperature of 100.4 or higher will not be allowed to remain on campus.

Area will be established to isolate sick students Clean and disinfect surfaces in the isolation area after the sick student has gone home

Environmental High-touch surfaces are cleaned multiple times throughout the day, including bathrooms Handwashing at arrival, handwashing or sanitizing at least every two hours,
