WE CAN BE THE DREAM! January 21, 2013

    Dear Editor;

I have a dream. Martin Luther King, Jr. had a dream. Americas Founders had a dream. John

Lennon had a dream. Our ancestors had a dream. We all have dreams. Why arent we everything

we dream we can be? Is it The Impossible Dream?

Walt Disney once said If you can dream it, you can do it. Always remember that this whole thing wasstarted with a dream and a mouse.

We are dreaming it, and we can do it. We can become The American Dreama dream of liberty,

justice and abundance for all. It is not an impossible dream. Don Quixote of La Mancha fought the

unbeatable foe, he reached for the unreachable star, ran where the brave dare not go - all to right the

    unrightable wrong.

Does it seem, as humanity apparently moves into more and more fear, more and more inequity, more

and more senseless, irrational behavior, that we are fighting an unbeatable foe, reaching for theunreachable star when we stand up for life, liberty and justicefor the hearts and spirits of our

    children?

Martin Luther King, Jr. whose birthday we are celebrating on January 21, had a dream of freedom

beyond simply the freedom of the blacks from oppression. He included all people in his vision:when we allow freedom to ringfrom every village and every hamlet, from every state and every

city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God's children, black men and white men, Jews

and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old

Negro spiritual, "Free at last! Free at last! Thank God Almighty, we are free at last!"

Albert Einstein once admonished humanity No problem can be solved from the same level ofconsciousness that created it.

Martin Luther King, John Lennon, Americas Founders, Einstein, all the visionaries and prophetsthroughout the ages transcended the prevailing level of consciousness of their times and saw what was

possible when humanity opens its heart and moves to a higher vibratory level. The dream is

impossible in the frequency of fear, scarcity and separation. The dream is inevitable when we each actfrom our higher conscience.

There is a new science that has proven the interconnectedness of all that is. Separation is an illusion.

We are One. The prevailing behaviors of greed and war are simply the result of an outmoded operating

systeman erroneous set of assumptions about the nature of the universe and humanitys place in it.

We will be free, free at last, when we release ourselves from the prison of our own minds. We will befree to become everything we dream we can be.

    Sincerely, Connie Baxter Marlow
