I hope you and your children enjoyed the summer months and had opportunities to relax, have fun, and spend time with family and friends. I am excited to join the community as the newly appointed principal of Waters Landing Elementary School. As many of you know, my education journey spans various roles including classroom teacher, staff development teacher, and assistant principal. Before joining the Waters Landing community, I served as principal intern of Rachel Carson Elementary School. I have had the privilege of meeting many families during the summer months. I believe that positive family partnerships increase our students’ opportunities for success and foster a collaborative learning environment. My door is always open and I welcome the opportunity to talk with more families as the year unfolds. As your principal, I am deeply committed to maintaining family partnerships and collaboratively making a positive difference in students’ lives. Our goal for this school year is to continue the tradition of high quality education and safe and nurturing environment for students and staff. Each of us play a vital role in creating and sustaining a positive atmosphere to support the success of our school. We must continue improving our ability to meet the needs of all students. Although we made some gains in our students’ overall academic performance, we will not be satisfied until every student in our school meets high standards. You will see me visiting classrooms, greeting students, and working alongside staff and families to see the work of teaching and learning reach even higher levels. Enclosed is important information to help ensure a smooth transition to the new school year. We would love to see everyone at our Open House on Friday, August 28 from 11:00 a.m. 12:00 p.m. Staff are working diligently to prepare classroom and instructional materials for the beginning of the school year. I am filled with ‘Dolphin Pride’ and look forward to working with each of you this year. Thank you in advance for your support as we work to make this a dynamic year for all of our children. Dear Waters Landing Families,

The end of summer is quickly approaching and we are diligently planning for the return of students and

staff. I hope you and your children enjoyed the summer months and had opportunities to relax, have fun,

and spend time with family and friends.

I am excited to join the community as the newly appointed principal of Waters Landing Elementary

School. As many of you know, my education journey spans various roles including classroom teacher,

staff development teacher, and assistant principal. Before joining the Waters Landing community, I served

as principal intern of Rachel Carson Elementary School.

I have had the privilege of meeting many families during the summer months. I believe that positive

family partnerships increase our students’ opportunities for success and foster a collaborative learning

environment. My door is always open and I welcome the opportunity to talk with more families as the year

unfolds. As your principal, I am deeply committed to maintaining family partnerships and collaboratively

making a positive difference in students’ lives.

Our goal for this school year is to continue the tradition of high quality education and safe and nurturing

environment for students and staff. Each of us play a vital role in creating and sustaining a positive

atmosphere to support the success of our school. We must continue improving our ability to meet the

needs of all students. Although we made some gains in our students’ overall academic performance, we

will not be satisfied until every student in our school meets high standards. You will see me visiting

classrooms, greeting students, and working alongside staff and families to see the work of teaching and

learning reach even higher levels.

Enclosed is important information to help ensure a smooth transition to the new school year. We would

love to see everyone at our Open House on Friday, August 28 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Staff are

working diligently to prepare classroom and instructional materials for the beginning of the school year.

I am filled with ‘Dolphin Pride’ and look forward to working with each of you this year. Thank you in

advance for your support as we work to make this a dynamic year for all of our children.

Sincerely,
