The curriculum for Waterloo AFM students has evolved since I was at university. SAF grads are better prepared for the working world because they are introduced to aspects of the accounting and finance professions that encourage them to explore and learn. They develop advanced IT skills through Excel and modeling courses, have
access to Bloomberg and Capital IQ, and can interact one-on-one with industry professionals at events like the hEDGE conference. I think SAFs undergraduate programs give students the best possible applied education and training for todays accounting and finance careers.
