On a select Saturday in November 2015, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Waterford Lakes Town Center will host the 16th Annual Taste of Orlando® event. The event, which historically draws thousands of guests includes:

TASTE OF ORLANDO® AND

Taste of Orlando® is a fund-raising event and includes restaurant sampling, a local

business expo, live concerts and entertainment venues. Thousands of local residents

flock to this popular event, which provides area businesses the opportunity to make

contact with many potential customers.

Proceeds from the event benefit the Simon Youth Foundation, a non-profit organization

which exists to foster and improve educational opportunities, career development, and

life skills for at-risk youth.

EVENT HIGHLIGHTS ~ IN DEPTH

Restaurant Sampling Booths

• FREE for restaurants to set up and participate

• Waterford Lakes Town Center to provide 15’ x 15’ space with one table and two chairs (vendors are responsible for providing own tent)

• Electric will be provided by Waterford Lakes Town Center

• Restaurant must comply with local and state health code laws

» Restaurants will be required to provide a copy of their business license prior to set up

• Restaurants set up booths to sample signature menu items

• Restaurants should plan on at least 1,500 samples

• Only guests with a wristband will be able to receive the menu item

Cooking Demonstrations

• Preparing signature dishes and on stage presentations

• This is an additional opportunity for a restaurant to consider doing

Entertainment

• LIVE music during event hours

• Local radio personality appearances

• Activities and bounce houses for children

Best Tastings

• Guests will help a restaurant to win Best Tasting by supporting the partner restaurant with taste tabs

• The restaurants who collect the most taste tabs throughout the day have the opportunity to win a Simon Mall AMEX Giftcard; $300 for first place, $200 for second place and $100 for third place
