accomplish while you are there and when you return to Bronxville.Your cooperation is necessary to make the trip a success. Follow your chaperone's instructions. If necessary, parents will be notified of improper behavior. General LimitsEveryone will be assigned to a tour group with a Bronxville chaperone. Students must remain with this

group at all times. Your chaperones have your daily schedule, your money and other important information. Where possible, please direct all your questions and problems to your group leader.

At no time are students to use the phone in their own room!!! Phones in the rooms will only be able to call within the hotel and are there for security reasons.

TravelYou will be assigned to a tour group and bus group. No changes will be allowed in these groups. Buses

will be used to and from the train in New Rochelle and for some travel in Washington.– You must ride on your assigned bus at all times; you may sit with anyone.– Attendance must be taken each time we return to the buses.– Always remain seated while you are on the bus.– NO FOOD, INCLUDING GUM, WILL BE ALLOWED ON THE BUSES!!!!

• Travel to and from Washington will be by Amtrak train.– The group will be in two cars.– You must remain in your seats and must stay out of the aisles.– Since the trip is long, you are encouraged to bring along cards, games, etc. to occupy your time.

If you bring a radio, you MUST have earphones.– You must bring lunch on the train, but NO CARBONATED BEVERAGES or GLASS BOTTLES. It will

be your job to keep the train clean and pick up your own garbage.• Most of the travel in Washington will be by Metro (subway).

– You must pay attention to your group leader on the Metro. STAY WITH YOUR GROUP.• Luggage• You are allowed one suitcase which should not be too heavy for you to carry yourself. You may also

bring one small carry-on for those things you will need on the train. Be sure that your luggage is tagged with your name, school and home address. Parents should review what their child is packing to ensure compliance with these guidelines.
